๐ญ Mark Sleboda, international relations and security analyst commented on Seymour Hersh's investigation about US involvement in the Nord Stream bombings: "Obviously, Seymour Hersh has been discredited by the mainstream media because the mainstream media has essentially become propagandists over the last few decades. And when he was calling them out over Vietnam, okay, that was a different time but even more recently when he started talking about the supposed assassination of Osama bin Laden or the hoax about chemical weapon uses in Syria. He has been discredited, ostracized by the western mainstream media. He's no longer one of us because he's revealing that. He's saying the quiet part out loud, basically. I think this is a very convincing narrative of what happened."

๐ฌ Dan Kovalik, labor attorney, human rights activist and author, spoke about his hopes for Seymour Hersh's investigation and answered a question if German, Swedish or Danish prosecutors and investigators may come up with evidence that it was the United States: "The current governments there would not reveal that because it implicates them, too. I mean, because they have not been critical of it. And particularly with Germany, they've suffered untold economic damage due to this. And yet they have put up no fight or concern about it. So I think the current governments are not going to say anything."

North Korea boasts enough ICBMs to overwhelm US air defense, media reports
The DPRK rolled out 10 to 12 Hwasong-17 ICBMs during a military parade in Pyongyang on Wednesday night to mark 75 years since the establishment of its armed forces. Photos were published by the countryโs news agency.
The nuclear-capable Hwasong-17 is already believed to be able to reach continental United States. Assuming it can carry four warheads, North Korea could get some of them past the US ground-based midcourse defense system (GMD), which consists of 44 interceptors, US newspaper reported.

๐ท๐บ๐ฎ๐ท Russia and Iran are studying the possibility of using digital currencies for export-import operations, but a regulatory framework is required, Russian Ambassador to Tehran Alexey Dedov said in an interview with Sputnik.
"The use of digital currencies and digital financial assets in settlements for export-import operations are being considered by both Russia and Iran. However, the process of reaching any specific agreement is still at the working stage," Dedov said.
He said the issue requires a thorough expert study, including the development of the necessary legal framework.

UK Has 'No F***ing Jets' to Spare to Meet Zelensky's 'Thanks-in-Advance' Demand
The UK has already gifted rocket artillery and howitzers and more than a hundred armored vehicles to Kiev, and has now pledged 14 of its Challenger 2 tanks and all its working self-propelled guns. But Ukraine's president flew into London on Wednesday to demand even more.
The UK has no jet fighters to offer Ukraine โ that is the blunt view of a government minister and a Royal Air Force (RAF) officer.

๐ฃ Dan Kovalik, labor attorney, human rights activist and author, speaks about the destruction of Nord Stream pipes: "First of all, it doesn't take Lieutenant Columbo to figure out that it was probably the US that did it. You had Biden who promised he was going to get rid of Nord Stream and then it was gotten rid of. And then you have officials like Victoria Nuland, who recently bragged that it had been destroyed. But aside from that, Seymour Hersh himself has often used anonymous sources and again, in stories that proved to be right. And as you mentioned, New York Times, all the major publications rely on anonymous sources all the time. So there's no reason to distrust this story because it's based on anonymous sources. A guy like Seymour Hersh could not have gotten as long a career as he has if he was naming his sources."

โScope of This Earthquake Is the Biggest in Turkiyeโs Historyโ, Turkish Seismologist Says
Professor Dogan Perincek, a Turkish seismologist, commented to Sputnik on the aftermath of the devastating tremors in Kahramanmaras.
"This is a great tragedy. The earthquake affected a very large area - 470 km (in diameter). For comparison, the length of the Sea of Marmara is about 250 km. This means that the area affected by the earthquake is almost twice as long. The aftershocks after the earthquake reached 6.6 points, which is almost the same as the main quake. In terms of magnitude, this is probably the first earthquake of its kind in Turkiye. We have experienced a number of earthquakes on tectonic faults. For example, the Erzincan earthquake had a magnitude of 7.9, but the area affected was much smaller," the professor said.
