“I am very saddened to inform all of those that loved her, of which there are many, that Ivana Trump has passed away at her home in New York City,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman who led a great and inspirational life. Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”

🔎Accused Buffalo shooter Payton Gendron was charged with federal hate crimes. He is now facing numerous counts of federal hate crimes and weapons charges related to the May 14 deadly assault on a Tops grocery store in Buffalo, N.Y., the Justice Department announced Wednesday.

The complaint alleges that Gendron's "motive for the mass shooting was to prevent Black people from replacing white people and eliminating the white race, and to inspire others to commit similar attacks."

In announcing the charges, Attorney General Merrick Garland said the DOJ “fully recognizes” the threat that white supremacist violence poses in the country. “We will continue to be relentless in our efforts to combat hate crimes, to support the communities terrorized by them, and to hold accountable those who perpetrate them.”

🔺The bodies of migrants who died in a Texas truck were returned to Mexico. After preparation and donations to cover funeral costs, a mountain community in eastern Mexico on Thursday mourned the return of three teenagers among the 53 migrants who died inside an abandoned truck in southern Texas last month.

Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it would bring back 25
of Mexico’s 26 victims by their family's wishes.

The repatriation of the victims was expected to continue in the
coming days in Guatemala and Honduras, which also lost 21 and six people,
respectively.

💸🇺🇸The Media Agency CNBC Business published America's Top States for Business 2022 this Wednesday. The top five states for doing business in this year's study were: North Carolina, Washington, Virginia, Colorado, and Texas. North Carolina topped the ranking, moving up from No. 2 last year. CNBC noted that's partly because "political leaders in the Tar Heel State keep managing to put partisanship aside to build the nation's strongest economy."

This rank scored all 50 states on 88 metrics in 10 categories of competitiveness. Each category is weighted on how frequently states use the types of economic development marketing materials.

On this occasion, CNBC's annual America's Top States for Business study considers health and inclusion factors, environmental quality, and for the first-time view, the availability of childcare. The study found that some states like Iowa, Oregon, New Jersey, and Nebraska lead the way in life, health, and inclusion.

😳Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., claims in a tweet that she was ready "to deck" a man filming himself catcalling and harassing her on the Capitol steps.

The man who filmed himself harassing AOC, Alex Stein, calls himself a "professional troll" and "comedian," but that's not how many see him.

Stein, in the video he filmed, which was later posted and shared on Twitter, can repeatedly be heard sexually harassing Ocasio-Cortez, calling her "sexy" and remarking about her body.
