Ronaldo to work with new manager as Al Nassr fires Luis Castro

Cristiano Ronaldo is now set to work with a new manager, after Al Nassr decided to sack Luis Castro on Tuesday.

Castro was dismissed after the Saudi Pro League side began the new season with two draws from their first three fixtures.

“Club has officially decided to terminate the contractual relationship with the first team coach, Mr. Luis Castro.

Real Madrid forward, Endrick, has opened up on why he decided to shoot instead of passing to either Kylian Mbappe or Vinicius Junior, as he scored in their 3-1 win over Stuttgart on Tuesday night.

The Champions League trophy holders began the defence of their title with a huge victory at home.

Mbappe had opened the scoring for Madrid, before Deniz Undav made it 1-1.

However, goals from Antonio Rudiger and Endrick sealed the points for the LaLiga champions.

For the third goal, Endrick raced clear and with Mbappe and Endrick on either side, he elected to shoot from distance.

After the game, he was asked about the choice to go by himself.

He replied: “I knew I had Kylian and Vini, but at that moment the best option was to shoot.”

UCL: Mbappe enters top 10 all-time Champions League goalscorers

Real Madrid forward, Kylian Mbappe, on Tuesday entered the top 10 all-time UEFA Champions League goalscorers’ list.

Mbappe achieved the feat after scoring a goal in Real Madrid’s Champions League 3-1 win over Stuttgart.

His team-mates Rudiger and Endrick also scored for the Los Blancos against the Bundesliga side.

Mbappe’s goal for Real Madrid against Stuttgart was his 49th in the history of the competition.

He overtook former AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has 48 goals.
