DOJ releases footage of $1.7M jewelry heist in Fremont, California

The Department of Justice released video showing a group of thieves stealing about $1.7 million worth of jewelry in roughly one minute during a June 18, 2025 robbery at Kumar Jewelers in Fremont, California. The suspects reportedly took about 75% of the store’s merchandise, and while four people have been arrested, authorities say most of those involved are still at large.
