Yep, I'm still the same man.

This picture brought something back to me. Not exactly a memory, more like a thought I've carried with me for most of my life. Long time ago (how old was I when, ten years old or younger? What made me decide to do that?..), I made a pact with myself that I wouldn't change as a person. Not that I wouldn't "grow" or improve, but that I would never betray myself. If the version of me from years ago were standing here now, I could tell him with absolute conviction: "I stayed true to who we are. I didn't break. I didn't compromise. I'm still you". And I will remain true to myself in the future as well. It's not a prediction - it's how things will be. It takes effort, it makes me very stubborn where I could have been more flexible, but that's one line I can't allow myself to cross. I wouldn't be able to bear it, it's too integral for my character, like mine mental illnesses.

Wear perfume. Good perfume, not the one you took from your dad. It's nice when it's not overdone. Oh, and take showers regularly. Otherwise, it's all useless.
