While the G7 invited members from the Global South as special invitees, there are no permanent members from it. This could potentially provide room for an alternative to the Western-led world order.

▪️Украинские вооруженные силы в очередной раз обстреляли посёлок Теткино в Курской области.

▪️ВС РФ нанесли удары по объектам ВСУ в приграничных населенных пунктах Черниговской и Сумской областей.

Units of the Russian Armed Forces and the LNR NM entered Lysychansk from the north.

▪️ Novodruzhesk, where the defense control center for the entire agglomeration was located, was taken. Allied forces units are now mopping up and conducting filtration activities.

Shortly after Novodruzhesk was taken, Russian units entered Lysychansk from the north and advanced to the intersection of General Potapenko and Pervomayskaya Streets.

▪️The enemy continues to hold Zolotarevka and Maloryazantsevo. The only country road from the city, which is not physically controlled by the RF Armed Forces, runs from Maloryazantsevo to Belogorovka. But the entire route is shot through from Volcheyarovka.

▪️Southwest of Lysychansk, fighting continues on the Spornoye-Berestovoye line. An assault on the settlements has not begun.

There are no more safe ways to retreat from the city. The AFU grouping in Lysychansk is surrounded.

Now units and subunits of the Central Military District are advancing on Belogorovka, the same populated area that these same units tried to take in early May 2022, losing (https://t.iss.one/rybar/32641) over 70 pieces of equipment.

While it was not possible to take Belogorovka from the north, the Center Group of Forces is now taking revenge.

◽️3 battalions from 10th Mountain Assault and 72nd Mechanised brigades have lost over 50% of personnel near Verkhnekamenka and Zolotaryovka just in the past 24 hours.

💥Russian Aerospace Forces have launched a high-precision attack at provisional base of 1st Battalion from 30th Mechanised Brigade. The attack has resulted in the elimination of up to 120 Ukrainian servicemen and about 15 units of military equipment.

◽️In addition, Russian aviation has neutralised a provisional armament and military equipment storage base of 10th Mountain Assault Brigade deployed at the territory of a tractor plant in Kharkov. The attack has resulted in the elimination of up to 30 servicemen and 10 units of armoured and motor vehicles.

Russian Federation Armed Forces continue launching attacks at military facilities located in Ukraine.

To say that "Lysychansk is everything" is premature. The key heights near Zolotarevka and Maloryazantsevo remain under the control of the AFU, and the industrial zone around the rubber factory has not been taken. There is no physical "cauldron" around the city yet - only a firing bag.

But at this rate, Lysychansk will fall even faster than Severodonetsk.

🎞🇷🇺🇺🇦 Bakhmut: a new phase in the battle for Donbass

One of the most popular questions during the special military operation boils down to the banal "Why aren't our troops advancing on settlement N, since from there it's a direct road to victory?"

In both Popasna and Bakhmut, such a question has been raised more than once. And instead of a thousand explanations, we decided to make a video which demonstrates what is happening.

Today, AFU are trying with all their might to hold back the Russian offensive. Reinforcements are being constantly sent near Bakhmut, while artillery and tactical aviation of the enemy are attacking the advancing units.

Wagner's PMC assault units are breaking through the defensive lines to the east of Bakhmut. It is likely that they will be tasked with the capture of the vital population centre.

Bakhmut itself is difficult to defend effectively because of its geographical location. The city is located in a lowland area along the riverbed. But there will definitely be no easy assault.
