The situation for the AFU units in Lysychansk and the suburbs is deteriorating. Pryvolye is taken. The Novodruzhevsk - Belogorovka highway is cut. The AFU is preparing for a counterattack from Seversk to prevent the final encirclement of the Lysychansk group.

▪️ The Russian Armed Forces forced the Seversky Donets, broke through the AFU defense and occupied Privolye, as well as the Privolnyanskaya mine on the Novodruzhesk - Belogorovka road.

▪️ In the fighting with the Russian Armed Forces, the command staff of one of the battalions of the 111th Brigade of the Tetra Defence Brigade was destroyed. The remnants of the unit withdrew to the area of Shipilovka and took up a circular defense of the settlement. A counterattack in the direction of Privolya is now being planned: active aerial reconnaissance of the RF Armed Forces' positions is being conducted.

▪️ Artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces and the LNR National Forces are firing ceaselessly at Verkhnekamenskoye and fighting on the eastern outskirts. The AFU responds by firing at Russian units at the Lisichansk refinery.

▪️ Two Milan anti-tank guided missile launchers have been redeployed to the western outskirts of Verkhnekamenskoye. Units of the 79 OdshbR have been sent to Seversk: they are to provide support and cover during the withdrawal of troops from Lysychansk.

▪️ Units of Allied forces are moving south from the Lysychansk refinery to bypass the fortified area in the Spornoye-Loskutovka section, while a massive hit on AFU targets is carried out from Nikolayevka.

The capture of Sporny will allow to finally deal with the hotbed of resistance of the AFU in Berestovo.

▪️Russian Armed Forces hit enemy's positions in Yunakivka bordering Russia in Sumy region.

▪️In northern Kharkiv region trench fighting continues. As a result of Russian Armed Forces' missile strike on Kharkiv, two territorial defence locations destroyed with at least 100 servicemen killed.

▪️Lysychans'k oil refinery clearing completed. Ukrainian units retreated to Zolotarivka and trying to gain a foothold along the last retreat route from Lysychans'k. West of Lysychans'k, allied forces advance on Seversk from two directions: from the oil refinery to Verhn'okam'yans'ke and from Mykolaivka to Spirne. Fighting continues on the southern outskirts of Lysychans'k near the rubber products plant and Bila Hora.

▪️Chechen units crossed Seversky Donets near Pryvillia from Stara Krasnyanka and assault the settlement together with DPR People's Militia.

▪️Wagner's PMC units focused on breaking the defence near Bakhmut and eliminating the enemy's personnel and equipment at Pokrovs'ke-Klynove line.

▪️In Dnipro region Russian Armed Forces launched attack on AFU's facilities in Dnipro and Slavhorod.

▪️Missile strikes destroyed the foreign mercenaries' location in Mykolaiv and the munitions depot in Shevchenko.

▪️Russian Armed Forces withdrew from Snake Island: due to continuous shelling from Odessa region, further defence of the island is suicide. At present, the island is empty and the Ukrainian side is not ready to occupy it. In case there is no Russian Armed Forces response, restoring the control over Snake Island will let AFU free up most of the resources deployed in Odessa region. Most of them will be sent to the area of active combat operations in Soledar direction, while another part will most likely be used for the planned counterattack in Kherson region.

The allied forces have reached Lisichansk.

▪️ Ukrainian army is suffering big losses in this area. Only in Verkhnekamenka, over the past 24 hours, the enemy has lost more than 120 persons dead, as well as 70 in Verkhnekamenskoye.

▫️ The failures of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the combat area provoke an increase of the number of cases of desertion and evading to be involved in operations. There is an unorganised withdrawal of certain AFU units from Lisichansk.

▪️ The command conceals the facts of understaffing of units in every way possible. One of the battalions of 17th Tank Brigade that operates near Novaya Poltavka (Donetsk People's Republic) is left with less than 20% of personnel from the authorised strength.

▫️ At the same time, the Kiev regime has found the 'culprits' for military failures of the AFU at another pocket in Donbass. MOSCOW, July 1. /TASS/. Thirty-seven members of Ukrainian nationalist battalions uninvolved in war crimes were handed over to Ukraine in a swap of prisoners-of-war (POWs), Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin said on Friday.

"We have representatives of nationalist battalions. This swap included those with no evidence from eye-witnesses or their fellow servicemen that they had committed the crimes incompatible with the logic of the exchange. Yes, 37 such servicemen were included in this list of 144. This was a required and forced condition and we also set terms in this swap. For Ukraine, this is a hyped event as it is important for them to get at least someone [from nationalist battalions] out of captivity," Pushilin said in a live broadcast on Television Channel One.

Only those members of nationalist battalions were handed over to the Ukrainian side who surely won’t be able to fight again owing to severe injuries they had received in combat, Pushilin said.

"Those representatives of nationalist battalions who will be unable to join the troops due to bodily injuries. These are those who have no arms, legs and have injuries incompatible with the normal way of life to say nothing about the fact that they won’t be able to join the troops," he said.

The Ukrainian servicemen charged with committing war crimes are not swapped, Pushilin stressed.

"A detailed and thorough probe into all participants in Ukrainian armed formations is being carried out. Those who have now been pressed with charges and transferred to the category of persons kept in custody in another place are not subject to the prisoner swap," the DPR head said.

The Ukrainian authorities handed over 49 militia fighters to the Donetsk People’s Republic in the prisoner swap, Pushilin said.

"Yesterday, we talked about 47 of our boys from the DPR but we found two more boys as part of this swap of 144. The latter two were not immediately handed over to us but now there are already 49 boys from the DPR and most of them are mobilized servicemen," Pushilin said, stressing that 95% of them had been tortured in captivity.

DPR Head Pushilin announced on June 29 that the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Kiev regime had carried out a POW swap, with each side returning 144 fighters, in the first exchange of captives between the DPR and Ukraine since the beginning of the special military operation. He added that the captured Ukrainian POWs handed over to the Kiev regime included privates of nationalist battalions who were in a poor health condition.

As Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov reported on June 30, the prisoner swap was implemented on an instruction from Russia’s supreme commander-in-chief.
