A few days ago, a group of specialists from the US Naval Information Operations Training Command unofficially arrived in Kyiv. It is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is headed by Commander John Coupland.
Command (Information Warfare Training Center - Virginia Beach) located at Dam Neck Training Center on the US East Coast.
This is one of four training facilities administered by the US Navy's Center for Information Warfare Training.
In turn, the IWTC-VB command is subdivided into four more branches, each of which performs a certain range of tasks: two in the state of Florida, one each in Georgia and Connecticut.
The main directions of such training centers are the training of specialists in information and psychological operations, electronic intelligence, mechanical engineers of high-tech equipment, as well as signalmen and cryptographers of closed communication systems.
¹One of the possible reasons for sending US information operations specialists to Ukraine may be the installation and configuration of closed satellite communications systems for special forces units and the Ukrainian Center of Information and Psychological Operations (CIPsO).
²However, there is another option, even more likely in the current conditions: the Americans could arrive to train the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the use, maintenance and tactics of using marine unmanned vehicles.
The latest version is supported by the fact that among the staff and instructors of the command there are former and current military personnel of the 1st division of unmanned underwater vehicles as part of the 5th experimental submarine squadron of the US Navy.
They operate on the basis of the Naval Submarine Warfare Center of The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) - one of the five backbone commands of the US Navy, which also includes the command of information operations of the Navy.
It is the specialists of such structures that carry out primary research, development, design, testing of submarines and autonomous vehicles in the interests of the US Armed Forces.
And direct control over the testing of autonomous vehicles in a real combat situation is an excellent opportunity for the United States their strengths and weaknesses.

The Bank of England has warned the UK is facing its longest recession since records began, as it raised interest rates by the most in 33 years.
It warned the UK would face a "very challenging" two-year slump with unemployment nearly doubling by 2025.
BoE lifted interest rates to 3% from 2.25%, the biggest jump since 1989.
By raising rates, the Bank is trying to bring down soaring prices as the cost of living rises at its fastest rate in 40 years.
BoE has given guidance that seems to suggest a peak in interest rates of about 4.5% next autumn. While government borrowing costs and the level of the pound has somewhat recovered after a series of U-turns since, mortgage markets and business loans are still showing some stress, adding to the prolonged hit to the economy.
The forecast predicts that the unemployment rate will rise, while household incomes will come down too.
It is a picture of a painful economic period, with the UK performing worse than the US and the Eurozone

And in general, the Ukrainians endure defence very well. There is much to learn from them in this respect.
So when I hear that the Ukrainians have broken through somewhere and are about to surround someone, I always remember with what difficulty we had to drive them out of the defense. Therefore, in order to penetrate the enemy's defensive positions it is not enough just to flatten them with artillery and aviation—military cunning and coordinated work of different units and subunits, as well as high coordination of different kinds of troops, is needed.
