π This is how the North Koreans welcomed the dictator of Romania, Nicolae CeauΘescu, back in 1971.
They actually didn't put that much effort into Putin's visit compared to how they have welcomed lesser dictators in the past.
The difference I think is that the dictator of Romania didn't show up in North Korea as a beggar in a losing war desperate for handouts. This guy in 1971 did it just to have friendly relations with the North Koreans.
