یکی از بزرگ‌ترین اخبار علمی امسال درباره ارزان‌تر و ساده‌تر کردن سفرهای فضایی بود. استارشیپ ایلان ماسک قدم بزرگی درزمینهٔ دستیابی انسان به فضاپیماهایی بود که قابلیت استفاده مجدد دارند بود.
البته تمام خبرها خوب نبودند. مثلاً یکی از خبرهای بد درباره کره زمین این بود که سال ۲۰۲۴ قطعاً یکی از گرم‌ترین سال‌های به ثبت رسیده کره زمین بوده است.
بااین‌همه، چیزهای زیادی برای جشن گرفتن وجود دارند. در اینجا شش دستاورد امیدبخش علمی در سال ۲۰۲۴ را مرور می‌کنیم.
