Seohyun steps into a new chapter, not as an actress but as a violinist, joining the Sol Philharmonic Orchestra's 8th Regular Concert on March 13 at Lotte Concert Hall. She will perform Vittorio Monti's Czárdás, a piece that dances between fire and longing, offering the audience a sharp, immediate taste of classical music's pull. The surprise lies in the simplicity of her journey, she has only been learning the violin for five months.
Her appearance was born from the orchestra's spirit, a group made not of career musicians, but of people who genuinely love classical music. Seohyun connected with their purpose and chose to stand beside them, hoping to make classical feel less distant and more reachable. Instead of chasing flawless technique, she wants to show the honest spark of someone who plays because they love it. For music is not merely sound, it is the breath of the heavens, the whisper of all things unseen, woven into the very fabric of existence. And those who are chosen to carry such melody upon their hands are blessed souls, gifted to illuminate the world with every stroke of their bow.
A worthy celebration is that which is wrought with boundless love; therefore, let us rejoice in this day abundant with melody, alongside Seohyun.
