We regularly have these big pumps on good news, and they always reverse. A bunch of SLs and TPs get triggered, and it’s mainly a leverage driven move.
What you should instead look out for is how it affects PA over the next 24-72 hours. That’s when spot buyers usually step in, and help drive prices up in response to good news.
Regardless - good news is good news.
The market is now anticipating war, and when those first bombs are dropped, I’d expect it to be quickly priced in.
