⚡️ More than 900 agreements were signed at SPIEF for total worth of 3.86 trillion rubles

150 countries from 25 “unfriendly” countries took part in the SPIEF, many of them participating incognito, as everybody is interested in the development of Eurasian cooperation.
Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to the Russian President, said this at a press conference on the SPIEF results.
In total, 17,000 persons from 130 countries took part in the forum, with the most numerous delegations coming from:

🇲🇲 Myanmar;
🇰🇿 Kazakhstan;
🇨🇺 Cuba;

⚡️ Foreign Ministry statement on the current political situation in the country
💬 The attempted armed mutiny in our country is resolutely rejected by Russian society, which strongly supports President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Reckless aspirations of the conspirators are essentially aimed at destabilising the situation in Russia, destroying our unity, and undermining the efforts of the Russian Federation to reliably ensure international security. Therefore, the mutiny plays into the hands of Russia's external enemies.
We warn Western countries against undertaking even the slightest attempts to use the domestic Russian situation to achieve their Russophobic goals. Such attempts would be futile and will find no resonance either in Russia or among reasonable political forces abroad. We firmly believe that in the near future the situation will find a solution worthy of the age-old wisdom of the Russian people and the Russian State.
All the goals and objectives of the special military operation will be achieved.
☝️ Our country will continue on its sovereign course to ensure its security, defend its values, strengthen its authority in the international arena, and establish a just multipolar world order.

An untruthful “documentary” by the BBC

🎥A new "documentary" cycle by the British BBC under the flashy title “Putin vs the West” is an extremely telltale example of media manipulation. Vividly and fully, it reveals the tools and the methods used by Western (British, as its epitome) propaganda, weaponised in the fight for the minds and hearts of the people on our planet. Based on a seemingly evidence-based and plausible sequence of events and accompanied by high-quality videos and quotes from Western “authorities,” they proceed to create a distorted semantic series which is literally turned upside down.

◽️The people behind this undeniably fascinating feature television series were clear about the task at hand. It was to fend off, to the best of their ability (and imagination), Russia’s arguments, which most countries consider fair, that the West has for decades been following a path of deepening confrontation with our country.
⠀
◽️After all, our opponents ignored Russia’s proposals to implement the principle of indivisible security in Europe and to build a common economic and humanitarian space from the Atlantic to the Urals. Despite Russia’s objections, they stubbornly continued to expand NATO and to systematically move NATO’s defence potential to our borders.

♦️As a result, what we are left with is, once again, a pile of disparate and tired anti-Russian lampoons rather than an attempt to analyse the root causes of the security crisis in Europe, the origins of which go back to the late 1990s-early 2000s. 🌾 As the Black Sea initiative to export Ukrainian food (which no longer covers the export of Russian ammonia) approaches its expiry date, UN officials led by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres have again made a series of public statements.

The reality, however, remains the same: out of the package of agreements proposed by the UN Secretary General and signed a year ago in Istanbul, the Black Sea initiative is the only one being implemented. At the same time, grain is mainly sent to high- and upper-middle-income countries, including the EU, which is far from the declared humanitarian goals. The poorest countries have essentially received nothing. Apart from sea traffic, Brussels also exports food from Ukraine via land security corridors, flooding markets of Eastern European countries with cheap products along the way.
❗️ Nothing has been done concerning the Russia-UN Memorandum. Westerners are feeling no qualms about openly asserting that they are continuing and tightening illegal unilateral sanctions against Russia, regardless of their destructive impact on food and fertilizer supplies on world markets, including in the global South. Three of the five fundamental tasks stipulated by the Memorandum – connecting Rosselkhozbank to SWIFT, supplying spare parts, and reactivating the Togliatti-Odessa ammonia pipeline – have already been effectively removed from the agenda. No progress has been made on the other two goals: to normalise transport logistics and insurance and unblock bank assets.

💬 We appreciate your visit as part of the Gulf Cooperation Council. This is a convenient format, especially in these troubled times. I believe that it is important that we discuss a large number of issues because due to the activity of some of our colleagues, many priority issues have gone by the wayside.
We respect Kuwait’s weighed and responsible approach towards the attempts to present the situation as a global catastrophe in comparison to which no other issue matters. I believe that this is unfair to the decades-old issues of the Middle East and North Africa (the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the issues of Iraq, Libya and Syria).
During the meeting, we will also be able to discuss bilateral issues. I am happy to see that there is progress. It is necessary to pay special attention to economic and trade ties between our countries.

I believe that this is unfair to the decades-old issues of the Middle East and North Africa (the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, as well as the issues of Iraq, Libya and Syria).
During the meeting, we will also be able to discuss bilateral issues. I am happy to see that there is progress. It is necessary to pay special attention to economic and trade ties between our countries.
