💬 The Kiev regime has decorated the Motherland Monument (iconic Soviet monument, unveiled in 1981, marking the Victory over Nazism in #WWII) in the colours of the US flag on July 4.
Apparently, this is a visualization of a concept by a local "historian" Alexander Dubina that Christopher Columbus was... Ukrainian 🤡

🇷🇺🤝🇮🇳 Interview by the DCM of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin with The Hindu newspaper
Key points:
🔹 We take G20 summit as one of the most important events this year, and all preparations are going on. Usually, plans of the Russian President are announced in due course
🔹 We are determined to supporting the Indian Presidency to ensure the success of the G20 Summit in September, and stay ready to continue the dialogue to find a real consensus
🔹To claim that the SCO is weakened after the summit is equal to downgrading the efforts of the Indian Presidency, not to say more. It is a strong dialogue platform aimed to expand a common ground
🔹 The West keeps encouraging Ukraine to continue terrorist hostilities, pumping the Kiev regime with sophisticated military hardware – in violation of international law and its own legislation – used to target Russian civilian infrastructure and citizens, raising the level of escalation fraught with disastrous consequences
🔹 Unless Washington and its satellites realize the danger and futility of their confrontation policy, there will be no space for any meaningful mediatory efforts on Ukraine
🔹 Some experts believe that a prolongation of the conflict in Ukraine serves the US interests to tighten its influence over Europe and make its defence and industrial complex running the American economy
🔹 Russia and India have over the decades created deep-rooted trust in each other. One cannot win such confidence overnight
🔹 We have no doubt that legitimate national interests combined with the historic mutual trust and affinity will remain the driving force of further expansion of Russia-India cooperation in all areas

🇺🇸 Admits to War Crimes in Ukraine by Supplying Cluster Munitions - 🇷🇺 Embassy
As the US desperately moves to justify sending cluster bombs to Kiev - amid a backlash from allies - it's apparently trapped itself in its own war crimes claim.
National Security Council Coordinstor John Kirby acknowledged that civilians would be affected by the munitions - the very same US officials and media accused Russia of using. Back then, they didn't hesitate to call it a war crime.
The Russian Embassy in Washington has criticized the US for helping neo-Nazi groups commit inhumane acts.

🎙 Comment by Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova in view of double standards in the #UNESCO Secretariat
💬 We have taken note of the press release published on the UNESCO website condemning "the bombing that hit a historic building in Lvov last night, located in the buffer zone of the World Heritage Site of Lvov – the Ensemble of the Historic Centre".
With its mentor-like statement, designed primarily for Western capitals, the Secretariat of the Organisation has once again demonstrated a biased and inconsistent approach, characterised by the division of countries into "good" and "bad".
☝️ It is to be recalled that despite the Russian Federation's demarche following the terrorist attack on the World Heritage site The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square, this Ukrainian crime, in flagrant violation of the 1954 Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the 1972 Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, was not dealt with publicly by the Director-General of the Organisation.
In the same way, in violation of the established practice and authority vested in Audrey Azoulay, she refuses to condemn the brutal murders by Ukrainian national radicals of Russian journalists Darya Dugina, Oleg Klokov and Vladlen Tatarsky with stubbornness worthy of a better cause.
<...>
❗️ By doing so, the institution at the very least sanctions, if not condones, the aggressive neo-Nazi course of the current Kiev regime.

💬 On February 28, 2022, Biden’s press secretary Jen Psaki said that the use of cluster bombs would be a war crime.
Over a year later, Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to US President Joe Biden, said at a briefing that the White House would provide cluster munitions to Ukraine.
We are looking forward to what Biden’s press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will say 🎪
UPD. They decided to give the floor to the boss: President Biden said that it was a “difficult decision” to provide Ukraine with cluster munitions, but Ukrainians “need them.”
He forgot to add that dead Ukrainians need them especially badly.

💬 Destructive minorities
PACE continues to favour illegitimate resolutions, this time demanding a total ban on the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in the Olympic Games. Obviously, they are violating:
- the Olympic Charter (the IOC Charter);
- the 2013 UNESCO Berlin Declaration;
- several UN General Assembly resolutions;
- and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
At the same time, the absolute global majority continues adhering to Olympic principles. Thus, the Non-Aligned Movement (120 states and another 20 observers) adopted a Special Declaration at the initiative of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku at the Ministerial Meeting of the NAM Coordinating Bureau urging all members to ensure the participation of all national teams at the Olympic Games in Paris.
IOC President Thomas Bach has already made an official statement: “The IOC warmly welcomes the support by the 120 member states of the Non-Aligned Movement. We are greatly encouraged by this strong commitment to the unifying mission of the Olympic Games. Thank you to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, for taking the initiative for this important resolution.”
If the West stands for democracy, it should accept the will of the majority based on international law.

🎙 Sergey Lavrov’s written interview with Indonesian newspaper Kompas (July 11, 2023)
• Viewing Ukraine as a military ram against Russia, the United States and the EU countries were pushing the Kiev regime to resolve the “Donbass problem” by force – through the ethnic cleansing of its Russian and Russian-speaking residents.
• The armed confrontation in Ukraine will continue until the West gives up its plans to preserve its domination and overcome its obsessive desire to inflict on Russia a strategic defeat at the hands of its Kiev puppets.
• We do not define the current phase of international relations as a new Cold War. The issue at hand is different and is about something different, namely, the formation of a multipolar international order. This is an objective process.
• Unilateral economic sanctions and our Western colleagues’ overall selfish foreign policy undermine global food and energy security. Their actions have complicated things for the developing countries.
• We are working towards strengthening ASEAN architecture for stability and cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region. The extrapolation to the Asia-Pacific Region of the negative scenarios that have been staged by the US and NATO in other parts of the world must be prevented.
