🇷🇺🇧🇾 #OTD, 25 years ago, on December 8, 1999, the signing of the Treaty on the Creation of a Union State of Russia and Belarus took place in the St George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow.

🤝 This step significantly contributed to the further integration of the economies of the two countries, expanding cooperation in many areas, including education and humanitarian ones, as well as gave a new impetus to our good-neighborly relations.

🟣Today, the Union State can serve as a shining example of integration processes between states, support for the centuries-old friendship of the two peoples and the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the Eurasian space.

✨ On December 8, the Russian Embassy in India took part in the 34th DCWA & Diplomatic Community Bazaar in New Delhi.

🪆 The Russian stall featured traditional Russian snacks and sweets, folk art and handicraft items, including the world-famous matryoshka dolls.

🎶 The event was adorned by three performances of the Russian folk groups with songs and dances.

🎬 On December 7, as part of the 17th Global Film Festival in Noida, a screening of the Russian feature film "Challenge" that was shot in outer space took place.

🇷🇺 Attaché of the Russian Embassy in India Ekaterina Lazareva addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.

👏 The movie was warmly received by the Indian spectators. The organizers of the event expressed intention for further festival cooperation with the Russian side.
