๐ŸŒ On November 14-15, the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow hosted the International Research Conference "The Future of Diplomacy and Diplomatic Services" as part of the Russian 2024 #BRICS Chairmanship.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ The event was attended by rectors of diplomatic service institutes of the association and partner countries, heads of authoritative think tanks. During the sessions, they discussed various aspects of diplomacy and exchanged experiences in training and skills development of foreign service officers amid the challenges posed by the formation of a multipolar world.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ The Indian delegation at the meeting was led by Amb. Raj Kumar Srivastava, Dean of the Sushma Swaraj Institute of Foreign Service, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

๐Ÿค On the sidelines of the conference, the Russian and Indian representatives held bilateral talks on issues of mutual interest.

At 3.25 am on November 19 Ukrainian forces fired 6 US-produced ATACMS missiles at Russia's Bryansk region.

Five missiles were shot down by S-400 & Pantsir SAM systems, one was damaged, its fragments fell in the technical zone of a military facility, causing a fire

๐Ÿ–ผ On November 18, 2024, a special preview of the Peredvizhniki exhibition took place at the new Tretyakov Gallery building on Kadashovskaya Embankment. Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the event welcomed diplomats from approximately 50 countries, representing all corners of the world.

Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova addressed the distinguished guests, emphasizing the importance of cultural diplomacy. The attendees experienced the largest Peredvizhniki exhibition in 50 years, showcasing over 150 masterpieces by renowned 19th-century Russian artists, including works by Perov, Repin, Levitan and Kuindzhi.

๐Ÿ—“ Accompanied by a rich educational program, the exhibition will run until April 6, 2025, and has already become the centerpiece of the galleryโ€™s 2024 season.

๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ On November 19, at the Russian House in New Delhi, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov delivered a welcoming speech at the lecture "Bharat as a State-Civilization: Geopolitics and Ideology" by the famous Russian philosopher and political scientist Alexander Dugin.

๐Ÿ“ Denis Alipov noted the overlap between the ideas put forward by Alexander Dugin and the concept of Russia's foreign policy as well as the prophetic nature of many of his works, including "Foundations of Geopolitics".

๐Ÿ’ฌ During the event, Alexander Dugin shared his vision of the formation of a multipolar world order with the active role of the expanded #BRICS, through the prism of the concept of states-civilizations, as well as the historical paths of development of Russia and India.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ The lecture was attended by representatives of the friendly diplomatic corps, socio-political, expert and journalistic circles, cultural figures and Russian compatriots.

On November 14th, Mr. Maxim Kozlov, Russian Consul General in Kolkata, participated in the interactive session organized by the Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPCINDIA), which operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
Consul General delivered a special address on the growing level of Indo-Russian bilateral trade, including the engineering sector, particularly in the context of enhanced rupee-ruble payment arrangements.
The program also included a welcome address by Mr. Arun Kumar Garodia, Chairman of EEPC India, as well as a presentation by Mr. Prem Sharma, Director & Nodal Officer, Sberbank.
After the session Mr. Maxim Kozlov paid a visit to the Technology and Design Center on the premises of EEPCINDIA, where the process of item 3D printing was demonstrated.

๐Ÿ“ Denis Alipov underscored the landmark nature of the XVI Summit of the Association in Kazan (October 22-24) in promoting genuine multipolarity, as well as the contribution of the Russian chairmanship in 2024 to multilateral cooperation between the BRICS member countries and partners.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Among the speakers at the event were renowned journalist and TV presenter, CEO of the IIA "Rossiya Segodnya" Dmitry Kiselev, Director of the Institute of Asian and African Studies of the Lomonosov Moscow State University Alexey Maslov, philosopher and political scientist Alexander Dugin, former Foreign Secretary of India Kanwal Sibal and National Co-Convener of Swadeshi Jagaran Manch Ashwani Mahajan.
