๐ŸŽฌ Russian Cultural Code: Art โ€” an educational documentary

For centuries, the Western world has been trying to solve the mystery of the Russian soul. Today, in the Digital Age, is has acquired a new name โ€” the Russian cultural code.

In this film (developed by the School of Arina Sharapova, TV presenter, Deputy Chairman of the Public Chamber), music, graphic art and architecture will become a key to the Russian code. Unlike literature, theatre and cinema, these arts require no translation.

Contemporary art often reflects a response to changes in society and through art we can trace how Russian culture adapts to technological progress.

Young musicians and students were invited to take part in the discussion with artist Alexei Belyayev-Gintovt who has created paintings and installations dedicated to Russiaโ€™s special role in the world.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Watch the documentary to better understand the Russian soul.
๐ŸŽญ On September 20-22, an Indian adaptation of Russian playwright Alexei Arbuzov's "Old World" was presented at the Delhi Theatre Festival.

๐ŸŸฃThe roles were performed by the renowned acting duo โ€” Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah.

โœจ The play made a splash at the festival!

Can you imagine the crowded halls of the library right now?

Hardly, can you?
And these photos weren't even taken at the famous Leninka, but from the library at the Polytechnic Museum.

Lifetime editions of Erasmus of Rotterdam and Newton, the famous encyclopedia of D'Alambert and Diderot and volumes with drawings of the Eiffel Tower signed by Gustave Eiffel himself.

3.6 million publications in Russian and foreign languages are stored there!
In 2024, the library celebrates its 160th anniversary and it is older than the museum itself!
