Today, I unveiled Florida’s CDL training initiative, which will greatly expand slots for those seeking to become commercial truck drivers.

I am confident this initiative will move us toward becoming the best state in the nation for workforce education.

With today’s announcement, Florida has grown openings for commercial driver’s license training slots from less than 1,000 per year to over 3,500 per year.

Our expansion of CDL training is having a real-time impact on our transportation industry.
