LINGUINE WITH WHITE CLAM SAUCE ON @RogerStoneShow ON @77WABCradio TODAY!

Ingredients:
Linguine, fresh littleneck clams, extra-virgin olive oil, plenty of sliced garlic, dry white wine, fresh parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and a little lemon.
Optional: a small amount of butter to finish.

Basic steps:
Boil the linguine in well-salted water until just shy of al dente. Meanwhile, sauté the garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes in olive oil until fragrant, then add the clams and about a cup of dry white wine. Cover and cook for several minutes until the clams open, discarding any that remain closed. Add the linguine directly to the pan with a splash of pasta water and toss everything together until the pasta finishes cooking and absorbs the clam broth. Finish with fresh parsley, black pepper, a squeeze of lemon, and, if desired, a little butter and olive oil. Serve immediately—no cheese needed.
