Khan and most of his supporters have been rejected as candidates for the February 8 election, party officials said Sunday after nominations for the ballot closed.

The court decision found that the CIA and Morales’ spying firm conducted unauthorized surveillance on journalists and attorneys who visited Assange at the Ecuadorean embassy in London.

Israeli prosecutors filed criminal charges against a man accused of impersonating a soldier to join the Gaza war, of stealing munitions and of posing for a frontline picture with PM Netanyahu.

Defendant Roi Yifrah never served in the Israeli military but nonetheless managed to make his way into the war zones by pretending to be a member of an elite Shin Bet combat unit, as per court filings.
