Statement from Resist the Mainstream regarding the Uncover DC story:

We want to address the situation regarding the 'U.S. Supreme Court Takes Case That Could Impact Future Elections' story which was published on our site today.

The story was originally published by Uncover DC, but our staff found it on a third party that had not provided ANY other sources. When our editor tried to Google the story, the only sources that came up were left-leaning outlets, and for obvious reasons the staff did not go with their version. So, our editor decided to publish the story without providing any credentials, because they believe the story contained valuable information.

Only later did we found out that the story had originally been published by Uncover DC after which we immediately provided credit. We were then contacted by a close person to Tracy Beanz and they asked us to take down the story, which we also immediately did.

In NO way are we saying what happened is justified, or acceptable. Providing a source in this day and age is crucial, and we stand by that. So we take full responsibility for what happened.

After having a conversation with Tracy, we completely understand where she is coming from. For that, we deeply and sincerely apologize. In NO way did we try to claim credit or steal her work. We think people such as herself are truly gems in today's world of journalism.

RTM was built from scratch. Nobody is funding our project. We are proud of the progress we have made. We have hired several writers, editors and regular opinion contributors. And we are actively working to grow our team to prevent situations like these from happening.

At the end of the day, we are all in the same fight. One way or another, we all try to provide valuable information that the MSM keeps ignoring.

We appreciate everyone who reached out and pointed out our mistake. To our readers, we apologize if we've let you down. You are our number one priority and we've been working day and night to create a valuable channel/source for everyone.
