An analogy:

Your driving down the road to a beautiful holiday destination.

You get to a y-junction and start down the left road. There are stop lights a little distance down the road, where a man who is clearly a local says to you that the left road has been flooded out and the only way you can take is the right road.

You believe him, turn and take the right road, thereby getting to your destination safely.

Did you need to repent and throw out your spare tire or syphon off some fuel to be able to turn and take the right road, or do you simply believe and turn?

How to be saved?
The King James Bible says whosoever shall call on the name of Lord, not repent of sins/turn from sins, shall be saved.

[32] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:...

Acts 2:21 KJB
[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is NOT ONE BIBLE VERSE that says "repent of your sins to be saved" or "turn from your sins to be saved" in any way, in order to recieve salvation and everlasting.

Repent of sins/turn from is clearly false doctrine of devils and is based on works instead of God's grace through faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ. By twisting the word "repent" through adding the word "of sins/from sins" to repent/repentance, the Devil has led millions of decieved individuals to Hell and eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.
