And the "Truth Is Christ" YouTube channel/unsaved, works salvationist heretick Brandon Peterson adds "turn from wickedness" [another turn from sins heresy] into how to be saved/salvation. YT Link to his video and his "turn from wickedness" for salvation heresy
So beware of and unsubscribe from his "Truth Is Christ" YouTube channel [his real name is Brandon Peterson]. He is not saved and needs to hear & to believe/be saved by the biblical gospel. If you have the KJB (which is great!) and yet have not yet believed just 1 time the gospel of that when you believed that the Lord Jesus (God the Son) came, lived, died for all your sins, was buried, and rose again [no human works for salvation, no turn from sins/no repent of sins works salvationist heresy/no -ism cults], you still need to be saved today.

In John MacArthur's book, 'The Gospel according to Jesus' on Page 177, John MacArthur denies the fact that repent/repentance is a change of mind. Then he tries to gulit-trip and convince readers into the wicked, heretickal, and hellbound heresy of repent=turn-from-sins to be saved & obedience. Photo is from a subscriber.

Additionally, John MacArthur falsely claims turning from sin and foresaking sin (both of which are works) is part of the gospel⚠️⚠️

John MacArthur is a Satanic, lying false teacher and a viper who is decieving millions of people with damnable, works-bases heresies and leading them to the Lake of Fire! Avoid him and warn your everyone you know to beware of and not listen to/read to John MacArthur or his books.

Charles Stanley is a false teacher that twisting change of mind into repent of sins salvationism heresy (4:19) and turns "repent" into a process of the steps of recognition of sin, sorrow for sin, his own commitment to listen, change his direction, change of conduct (works) (2:58) and claims there is more things involved in order to repent. At 5:32, Charles Stanley backloads and adds behavior (a work) into repent for salvation. In Touch "Ministries" heresies VS Scripture: IN Touch Ministries: "Yes, turning from sins, often referred to as repentance, is a crucial part of the process of salvation." Scripture: Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. (Acts 19:4 KJB) For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him. Acts 3:19 DOES NOT say "turn away from sinful behaviors" in order to be saved. Repent-of-sinnists, corrupt modern versions, works trusters, and hereticks, often twist biblical repentance and Acts 3:19 into unbiblical, various "repent of sins" or workist heresies when those direct word phrase are not mentioned here: Acts 3:19 says repent (change of mind) and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. Before someone converts, they understand with the gospel with their heart and then turn from unbelief to belief. When they understand, they have the opportunity to & can repent/change their mind from unbelief to belief.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (Acts 3:19). For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (Matthew 13:15). Jesus defines converted to mean to come to him by faith in him alone: And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. Thus: I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: (Psalms 116:10)

On repentance, David Cloud contradicts himself and the Bible on the definition of biblical repentance for salvation and has an unbiblical definition of what biblical repentance for salvation/how to be saved is.

Backloading the work of one's change of life into biblical repentance on/for salvation:

"Biblical repentance is a change of mind toward God and sin that produces a change of life by the regenerating power of God"

"There is a sense, of course, in which you can be saved and not change anything, because there is no change you can make in order to be saved, and the change that does come is by God’s regenerating power. But there is no example of salvation in the Bible without change." "It is to repent of breaking God’s law"

"(I don’t use the term β€œrepent of your sin,” though I don’t believe it is wrong to use that term, if properly explained)"
