The new man has no sin as he is born of God. We sin due to having the old man who has the flesh
1 John 3:9, 5:1
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;..he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:

Jesus differentiated born of the flesh vs of God
John 3:5-7
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

A man is sealed by the Spirit/born of God after he trusts Christ
Eph 1:12-13
..we..who first trusted in Christ.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

1 John 3:9 doesn't say "repent of sins to be saved"
Born of God=The New Man

Periodic reminder that salvation does not come from repenting of your sins. It comes from believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as the propitiation for them.

Acts 2:38 Explained

Repent is not water baptism.
Be baptized is not repentance.
Repentance is to believe on Christ Jesus, NOT turning from sin and NOT "repenting of sins/turn from sin" to saved.
Remission of sins=forgiveness of sins, not remorse for and not turning from sin to be saved.

"In Touch Ministries" pushes the wrong defintion of repent and lies by saying repent = turn from sin + turn toward God, in order to be saved

"When we commit to repentβ€”that is, to turn from sin and toward Godβ€”the Spirit supplies the power for us to do so. He transforms the inner person and gives new desires for holiness and obedience."

[Source]

Turn from sin is a work (see Jonah 3:10) and works do not save us (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Repent is a change of mind from unbelief ("believed him not") to belief ("that ye might believe him.")

Matthew 21:32 KJB
[32] For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye had seen it, repented not afterward, that ye might believe him.
