Repent of/turn from sins salvationists exposed:
In Ezekiel 14:6, which we read, it says repent, and turn from idols, instead of saying repent of your sins to be saved from sin and Hell.

[6] Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
Ezekiel   14:6   KJB God even seperates "repent" from " turn yourselves from your idols" ( aka turn from a sin like idolatry) with a comma, so that we know that repent and turn from idols/from sin are two seperate things. Repentance is not turn from sin.

Everyone who reads Ezekiel 14:6 and thinks "repent of sins for salvation is biblical" always avoid verse 8 which says that God will cut off (slay with earthly, bodily, physical death) idolaters
Ezekiel 14:8 KJB
[8] and I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

In repentance, we are changing our mind by turning from believing on idols, because when we repent, we immediately, voluntarily believe on the risen Lord Jesus Christ instead of those idols or false heathen gods, for salvation.

Because turning from sin involves human effort to not do sins, turning from/repenting of sin is a work instead of salvation by God's grace through faith alone on the risen Lord Jesus Christ (no works at all).

[17] And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

If β€œrepent” = β€œrepent of your sins”:

Was God concerned the people would repent of their sins if they saw war?

It is clear that β€œrepent” means a change of mind.

If β€œrepent” = β€œrepent of your sins” , that would mean that God is a sinner.

Rather, the true meaning of Repent” is a change of mind

Verses from the law and historical books:

Genesis 6:6-7 KJV
[6] And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. [7] And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Exodus 32:14 KJV
[14] And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Deuteronomy 32:36 KJV

Judges 2:18 KJV
[18] And when the Lord raised them up judges, then the Lord was with the judge, and delivered them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge: for it repented the Lord because of their groanings by reason of them that oppressed them and vexed them.

1 Samuel 15:11 KJV
[11] It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the Lord all night.

1 Samuel 15:35 KJV
[35] And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the Lord repented that he had made Saul king over Israel.

2 Samuel 24:16 KJV
[16] And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the Lord repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.

1 Chronicles 21:15 KJV
[15] And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

"Repent of sins" people who always believed in repent-of-sins-for-salvation clearly only trust their WORKS of turning from sin/stop sinning, which is why they are heading for the Lake of Fire because they are still unsaved people who believed not and yet trust their vain works of not sinning/turning from sin to save them 😭

  Revelation   21:8   KJB
[8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

  Matthew   7:22 - 23   KJB
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The damnable heresy that is called 'repent of of your sins to be saved' frustrates the gospel.

Galatians 2:21 (KJV)

Β²ΒΉI do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Repentance and Salvation by Pastor Steven Anderson https://youtu.be/6_9GrlGmgFY?

Excellent Sermon that clarifies many details on repentance

@RepentanceExamined
Sin is the transgression of the law, so if you are trying to repent of sin, are you inside or outside the law?

Romans 4:15 KJV
[15] Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

To be saved, we need the righteousness of God. That righteousness is Christ Jesus, and it is OUTSIDE THE LAW.

Romans 3:21-23 KJV
[21] But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; [22] Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Notice, the promise which was to Abraham the father of faith, was NOT through the law. Indeed, if the law was the way to the inheritance, faith is completely void.

Romans 4:13-15 KJV
[13] For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith. [14] For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: [15] Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Galatians 3:26,29 KJV
[26] For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. [29] And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Romans 11:6 KJV
[6] And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
