How to be saved?
The King James Bible says whosoever shall call on the name of Lord, not repent of sins/turn from sins, shall be saved.

Joel 2:32 KJB
[32] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered:...

Acts 2:21 KJB
[21] And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13 KJB
[13] For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is NOT ONE BIBLE VERSE that says "repent of your sins to be saved" or "turn from your sins to be saved" in any way, in order to recieve salvation and everlasting.

Repent of sins/turn from is clearly false doctrine of devils and is based on works instead of God's grace through faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ. By twisting the word "repent" through adding the word "of sins/from sins" to repent/repentance, the Devil has led millions of decieved individuals to Hell and eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire.

In Matthew 3:2, CEB promotes unbiblical heresy of "change your...lives" to get saved.

Matthew 3:2 KJB
And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matthew 3:2 CEB
โ€œChange your hearts and lives! Here comes the kingdom of heaven!โ€

By changing "repent ye" (KJB) to  "change your hearts and lies", the CEB:

๐Ÿ’ฅTurns repentance into unbiblical works based salvationism
๐Ÿ’ฅAnd makes salvation dependent on us sinners and our work instead of our salvation being only dependent and only based on the work of the sinless Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ at the cross and His death and resurrection.

"Change your...lives" (CEB) is work that does not save us.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJB
[8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] not of works, lest any man should boast.๐Ÿ“–

Galatians 2:16 KJB
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.๐Ÿ“–

Discard the CEB and get, read, and believe the KJB and its words.

Note: CEB stands for Common English Bible which is a corrupt modern version.

Did God sin in Jonah 3:10? No, absolutely not! Therefore because God is holy and repented, "repent of sins" is unbiblical.

Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; For the LORD our God is holy.
Psalm 99:9 KJB

in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Titus 1:2 KJB

Since God cannot and does not lie or sin, therefore he cannot "repent of sins" and thus the common phrase of "repent of your sins" is biblically incorrect, because repenting is about turning from unbelief to believing on the risen Lord Jesus alone!

Jonah 3:10 proves 2 important things:

1. Turning from your evil ways/sins is WORKS.

2. Repent DOES NOT mean stop sinning or turning from sin, because God repented and does not sin:

And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
(Jonah 3:10)

Lordship salvation heresy adds works of turning from sins into the Gospel.

Turning from sin/repent of muh sins/Lordship salvation is an example of any other Gospel.

Galatians 1:8 - 9 KJB
[8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
