🚨BREAKING: A female homeowner found an intruder in her shed. She subdued him with a baseball bat and chained him up, then forced him to reveal the location of her items and the accomplices.

She was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, kidnapping with intent to cause actual bodily harm and being armed with intent to commit an offence. She has been refused bail.

Pig Heads Thrown on Land Bought for Mosque to Stop Construction.

Locals in Seville, Spain, reportedly threw pig heads, bones, legs, and ears onto land purchased for a new mosque and Islamic center.

The protest was meant to exploit the fact that pork is considered impure under Islamic law.

Similar protests involving pig remains have happened at other planned mosque sites in Spain.

The Police Murders on Bülowplatz describes the assassinations of German police officers on August 9, 1931, at the southern tip of Berlin's triangular Bülowplatz by communists from the so-called "Party Self-Protection" (PSS), the military sports group of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) in Berlin.

On the evening of August 9, 1931, at around 7:00 p.m., two communists encountered police officers Anlauf, Richard Willig, and Franz Lenck. They followed the police officers and fired at their victims from behind at close range. Anlauf was killed instantly, Lenck dragged himself into the cinema entrance; Willig survived with a gunshot wound to the stomach.

Between January 1, 1928, and the end of October 1932, the KPD terrorist organization murdered eight police officers and injured 870 police officers, mostly seriously.

August 9, 1956: In South Africa, 20,000 women of all ethnicities and from all parts of the country demonstrate against the Native Urban Areas Act in front of the Union Buildings in Pretoria, the seat of government.

This law set the number of people who were allowed to stay in the city and severely restricted the rights of black South Africans in the cities.

In order to legally reside in the cities, every male black South African had to report to the municipality administration upon arrival, present his contract of service and pay a fee of no more than 2 shillings per month for his stay. Each of these people received an official receipt for this upon request. If the work activity ended, for example due to the end of the contract, imprisonment or other circumstances, each of these people had to leave the place after a set period of time.
