In 2012, a young boy from Tanzania named Julius Bernard arrived in Israel for life-saving heart surgery. He was just a child.

This month, Julius returned to Israel one last time - for follow-up treatment with Save a Child’s Heart, the Israeli organization that has treated over 6,000 children from more than 60 countries.

He is now heading home to Tanzania to begin his university studies.

A healed heart. A bright future.

Heartbreaking: Funeral for Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Roytman who was killed by Palestinian terrorists in the shooting attack near Yehuda Junction, West Bank/Judea and Samaria on October 23. Sergeant Yuval Shai Svilem was also killed in the attack and three additional soldiers were injured.

A StandWithUs Brasil repudia veementemente o episódio de antissemitismo e apologia ao nazismo ocorrido neste domingo (25), no Colégio Santo Inácio, em Botafogo, no Rio de Janeiro, durante o segundo turno das eleições. Segundo relatos e vídeo divulgado nas redes, uma eleitora teria feito a saudação nazista repetidas vezes e, ao saber que um jovem presente era judeu, respondido: "pior ainda".

O gesto remete ao regime responsável pelo assassinato de seis milhões de judeus e de milhões de outras vítimas. Não é liberdade de expressão: é uma ofensa à memória do Holocausto, agravada por ter ocorrido em pleno exercício do voto.

A apologia ao nazismo é crime no Brasil (Lei nº 7.716/1989). Acompanharemos a investigação da Polícia Civil e confiamos que as autoridades apurarão os fatos com o rigor que a lei exige.

O antissemitismo é incompatível com a democracia, e sua presença é um dos sinais mais claros de crise democrática. Deve ser combatido com firmeza, venha de onde vier e independentemente de lado político.

Manifestamos nossa solidariedade ao jovem atingido e a toda a comunidade judaica brasileira.

🚨 The IDF and Shin Bet have announced that last week they eliminated two terrorists who helped move millions of shekels from the Iranian regime and Turkey to Hamas’ military wing.

A 22-year-old from Ogden, Utah named Skyler AJ Rose is facing federal hate crime charges after allegedly posting on social media: “I wanna blow up a synagogue.”

When the FBI and local police searched his home, they allegedly found ammunition, two rifles, and six pipe bombs - along with evidence on his phone that he had looked up a synagogue near him.

Rose is charged with attempting to commit a hate crime, threats to kill and injure, threats to destroy a building, and possession of an unregistered destructive device. He pleaded not guilty and will remain in custody until trial.

No synagogue should be a target. No Jew should have to pray in fear.
