On this day, (August 24, 1929), 97 years ago, the Hebron massacre, in which almost 70 Jews were brutally murdered in 1929, began. The attack resulted in the complete ethnic cleansing of Jewish people from the city. Far too often, the world forgets that terrorism against Jews in their homeland and holy cities began long before the establishment of the modern State of Israel. May the memories of those murdered forever be a blessing. 🕯️

Say his name: Yonatan Samerano.
During the Hamas massacre in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, Yonatan was brutally murdered. Following his murder, an UNRWA worker kidnapped him into Gaza. He was recovered from Gaza by the IDF and returned to Israel for proper burial in June 2025.
UNRWA isn’t just complicit; it’s directly involved in Hamas’ terrorism. The time has come for the United Nations and UNRWA to be held accountable for the actions of their personnel on October 7, 2023, and in the period that has followed.
We remember Yonatan today and always. May his memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️

A kite may look harmless. But communities along Israel’s border with Gaza remember what happened when kites and balloons were deliberately weaponized.
Between April and October 2018, incendiary kites and balloons launched from Gaza caused:
1,600+ fires across southern Israel.
7,000+ acres burned.
Nearly 30 square kilometers (11.6 square miles)) of land damaged
Approximately 1,200 acres of cultivated farmland destroyed.
More than $2 million in damage to farms, forests, nature reserves, and property.
Some balloons and kites were also reported carrying explosive devices, creating an additional danger for anyone who approached them.
Now, kites are once again crossing from Gaza toward Israeli border communities. The kites recovered in recent days have not been found to contain explosives or incendiary material.
But history explains why Israel is taking them seriously.

EEOC Finds Reasonable Cause That A Chicago University Discriminated Against Jewish, Israeli Professors
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has found reasonable cause to believe that the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) discriminated against three faculty members — and a class of employees — because of their religion, Judaism, and/or their national origin, Israeli, by subjecting them to harassment in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. All three professors were supported by StandWithUs Saidoff Law. "Three separate charges from Jewish professors in three different UIC departments, three separate law firms, and the same result: the EEOC found reasonable cause in every one," said Deedee Bitran, Senior Counsel and Director of Pro Bono at StandWithUs Saidoff Law. "That consistency matters. It shows this wasn't a personality conflict or a misunderstanding. Rather, this exposes systemic antisemitism that the university had every opportunity to address and didn't. The faculty members did what the law asks of them. Now it's UIC's turn."
