Um jornal libanês ligado a apoiadores do Hezbollah lançou uma campanha de boicote ao novo filme do Homem-Aranha, que estreou nesta semana, por causa da participação do produtor judeu Avi Arad, que é israelense-americano.

O motivo alegado do boicote é o apoio de Avi ao direito de Israel de se defender após os ataques de 7 de Outubro e sua atuação pública em defesa da libertação dos reféns sequestrados pelo Hamas, incluindo o uso do símbolo da campanha pelos reféns durante o Oscar de 2024. Ironicamente, o grupo terrorista ignora que a produção também tem Mark Ruffalo no elenco, um dos artistas mais críticos a Israel na atualidade.

O boicote segue um histórico de restrições no Líbano a produções com participação de israelenses, como os filmes da Mulher-Maravilha estrelados por Gal Gadot, que não foram exibidos nos cinemas do país por causa da origem da atriz.

Um novo estudo do Antisemitism Research Center, ligado ao Combat Antisemitism Movement, apontou que conteúdos antissemitas têm 6,8 vezes mais chance de aparecer entre os vídeos mais vistos de contas de cortes no Instagram.

A pesquisa analisou 1.960 vídeos publicados em cinco contas que republicam cortes de grandes streamers. Embora os vídeos antissemitas representassem apenas 4,7% da amostra, eles corresponderam a 32% dos 15 vídeos mais vistos de cada conta.

Os 92 vídeos antissemitas identificados somaram quase 39 milhões de visualizações, com média de 423 mil views por vídeo.

O alerta é grave: na economia da atenção, o antissemitismo não se espalha apenas por convicção ideológica. Ele também é repostado porque dá clique, gera revolta, engaja e performa.

Quando o ódio vira moeda de engajamento, plataformas precisam parar de tratá-lo como “apenas conteúdo”.

On August 1, 2014, 12 years ago today, during Israel's Operation Protective Edge, IDF Lt. Hadar Goldin was killed by terror group Hamas. He was only 23 years old. His body was taken by Hamas to Gaza, where he was held for more than a decade. In November 2025, he was finally returned to Israel and given a proper burial. May his memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️
