Cópias em árabe de Mein Kampf, livro escrito por Adolf Hitler, foram encontradas à venda em uma livraria no centro de Londres.

Segundo o The Jewish Chronicle, os exemplares estavam na Aafaq Bookstore, na Edgware Road, a poucos minutos da West Central London Synagogue. O vereador conservador Elliot Keck afirmou ter ficado “enojado” ao encontrar múltiplas cópias do livro na loja.

A livraria contestou que o livro estivesse em destaque. Em nota, afirmou que tinha apenas três exemplares, colocados junto a outros livros de história, e disse rejeitar “a ideologia nazista, o antissemitismo, o racismo e todas as formas de ódio”. A loja também informou que removeu o livro de venda “por respeito aos visitantes e à comunidade local”.

A questão não é apenas a existência de um texto histórico controverso. É o contexto: em meio à escalada de antissemitismo no Reino Unido, ver o manifesto de Hitler circulando como produto em uma região próxima a uma sinagoga é, no mínimo, alarmante.

Report: Cyprus holds the highest rate of antisemitic attitudes in the European Union, with 58% of Cypriot adults holding elevated antisemitic views.

The findings conducted by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has found that are stark: 81% of respondents in Cyprus believe Jews have too much power in the business world, 39% believe Jewish loyalty lies only with Israel, and one in five Cypriots believe the Holocaust happened but that the number of victims has been exaggerated - a figure three times higher than the regional average.

Greece, Cyprus's close partner, ranks second in the region, with 50% of adults holding antisemitic attitudes - roughly 4.3 million people. Two-thirds of Greek respondents believe a small group secretly controls major world events, far above the regional average of 39%.

Despite these troubling figures, a striking pragmatic gap exists: 81% of Cypriots support maintaining diplomatic relations with Israel, and 90% support welcoming Israeli tourists.

Em 2021, após um ensaio para a revista ELLE, conseguiu exílio na França, deixando a família e amigas para trás. Continuou competindo e disputou o mundial de taekwondo de 2023 pela equipe de refugiados, de olho nas Olimpíadas de 2028.

Among the more than 1,000 victims of the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre in southern Israel was Elizaveta ‘Lilia’ Kostitsina (78), a mother of two and grandmother of 10.
Elizaveta was at home in Ofakim, in southern Israel, when the Hamas massacre began. As red alert sirens continued that morning amid relentless rocket fire from Gaza, she wanted to help her neighbors who were sheltering in the stairwell of the building by inviting them to shelter in her home. When she opened her apartment door, terrorists brutally shot and murdered her.
This is only one of countless heart-shattering stories from Hamas’ massacre.
We must not let the world forget.

A StandWithUs Brasil condena, nos mais veementes termos, a fala do Ministro da Segurança Nacional de Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, segundo a qual “de 30 a 40 pessoas” deveriam ser eliminadas todas as noites na Faixa de Gaza por meio de “execuções seletivas”.

Como ele mesmo deixou claro, sua postura não representa a política atual do Estado de Israel, que limita as ações militares a alvos dos grupos terroristas como Hamas e Jihad Islâmica, bem como a indivíduos diretamente envolvidos na realização do massacre de 7 de outubro de 2023.

Civis palestinos precisam ter a sua segurança garantida e suas vidas protegidas, uma vez que, em sua grande maioria, também são vítimas do terrorismo do Hamas, ao serem usados como escudos humanos e submetidos a diversas formas de opressão nos últimos 18 anos. Reprovamos todo tipo de linguagem que desumanize civis palestinos, árabes, muçulmanos ou de qualquer outro povo.

Para que haja paz no Oriente Médio, é necessário que a humanidade e a dignidade de todos os seus habitantes sejam protegidas. Esse é um princípio que sempre regeu os ideais sionistas e que serviu de base para a criação do Estado de Israel.

Researchers at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem have successfully engineered a plant to produce beta-casein - one of the key milk proteins responsible for making cheese melt - opening the door to a future where dairy products no longer require cows. 🥛🇮🇱

The global dairy industry is worth over $1 trillion annually, but livestock farming accounts for roughly 15% of global greenhouse gas emissions. By transferring milk protein genes into safflower, a drought-tolerant oil-producing plant, the team was able to "milk the seeds" - pressing them to extract a protein-rich cream.
