For most Jews around the world, Zionism and Israel form an integral part of Jewish identity, Israel is the birthplace of Jewish ethnic identity, language, culture, traditions, and religion, and Jews have maintained a constant presence there for over 3,000 years. Zionism represents the Jewish people's unbreakable bond and age-old desire to be free in their ancestral home. On a political level, Zionism is a liberation movement supporting Jewish self-determination in the land of Israel. Jews have endured over 1,900 years of oppression and violence across Europe and the Middle East, including genocide. There are only 15 million Jews on earth today. Nearly half of them live in the State of Israel, and all of them still face the threat of anti-Jewish bigotry worldwide. In this context, Israel's existence and well-being are vital to the Jewish people's safety, survival, and human rights, Denying Israel's right to exist or attacking Jews because of their connection to Israel is no more acceptable than targeting any other part of Jewish identity.

A man burst into Manhattan's Central Synagogue during Friday night Shabbat services, struck a congregation member, damaged synagogue property, and spat at and head-butted a security guard who attempted to remove him. Larry Montes, 46, of the Bronx, was arrested on the spot and charged with two counts of assault as a hate crime and one count of criminal mischief as a hate crime. NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch - who grew up attending Central Synagogue - described the incident as "deeply painful." "A place of worship should never be a crime scene," she said.

🚨The Iranian regime's "axis of evil" is rebuilding.

The IDF has assessed that terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah are now actively coordinating their attacks with Iranian regime assistance - on both the northern and southern fronts simultaneously.

In Lebanon: Hezbollah is using fiber-optic drones to locate IDF soldiers and strike in gray areas. Three IDF soldiers were wounded Saturday. Hezbollah’s terrorists, trapped underground, are running out of food.

Arqueólogos que realizam escavações abaixo do Museu da Torre de Davi, na Cidade Velha de Jerusalém, descobriram um raro molde de argila usado para fundir o rosto de uma estatueta feminina datada do período do Primeiro Templo, entre os séculos VIII e VI a.C. Trata-se do primeiro molde de produção desse tipo já descoberto em Jerusalém.

Ele foi encontrado durante escavações em andamento no Kishle, uma antiga prisão da era otomana situada nas dependências do museu, enquanto se peneirava terra proveniente do período do Primeiro Templo. Após a limpeza, a Autoridade de Antiguidades de Israel produziu uma réplica a partir do molde, revelando um rosto feminino completo com um penteado de cachos. Estatuetas de argila dessa época têm surgido em praticamente todas as escavações em Jerusalém, mas, até agora, não se sabia onde eram fabricadas. Esse molde fornece a primeira evidência direta de que, pelo menos algumas delas, eram produzidas na própria cidade.

On October 8, 2023 - one day after the Hamas massacre - pediatricians at Israel's National Human Milk Bank realized something no milk bank in the world had ever faced: dozens of healthy babies whose mothers had been murdered, abducted to Gaza, wounded, or called up for emergency IDF duty.

The bank, operated by Magen David Adom, Israel's National Emergency Service, tripled its activity overnight - recruiting over 200 new donors, running MDA motorcycles through missile fire to collect milk daily, and working around the clock to ensure every baby received safe, screened donor breast milk. One of the babies' mothers was an Israeli Air Force Apache helicopter pilot who cut short her maternity leave to fly combat missions. "Giving of your own milk, giving part of yourself while nursing your own baby is the height of unconditional love," said the bank's chairman. More than 80% of families said the donated milk helped them cope with the consequences of the war. "They said they felt the whole country supported them." This is Israel. 🇮🇱🤍
