Como destacou o i24NEWS, a cena deve ser interpretada como sinal de que, para quem decide apoiar o Hamas, o massacre é tratado como “resistência” ou “vitória”... Mesmo com as consequências desastrosas do que aquele dia gerou, tanto para israelenses como para os moradores da Faixa de Gaza.

O Ministério da Diáspora e Combate ao Antissemitismo de Israel alertou turistas israelenses na Grécia, diante de uma série de protestos anti-Israel organizados em ilhas e grandes cidades do país.

Segundo o jornal The Jerusalem Post, os atos foram convocados por redes pró-Palestina como BDS Greece, Palestinian Community in Greece e March to Gaza Greece, em uma campanha nacional chamada “Day of Action”.

Imagens analisadas pelo jornal mostravam manifestantes com keffiyeh e cartazes com frases como “Zionists not welcome here” (“sionistas não são bem-vindos aqui”). O relatório israelense afirma que a campanha mira atingir o turismo israelense, a cooperação militar e os laços econômicos entre Atenas e Jerusalém.

Entre as demandas dos organizadores, estão boicote a Israel, o fim da cooperação militar e diplomática, o embargo de armas, as sanções e até a revogação da entrada sem visto para cidadãos israelenses.

Hoje (10), após um terremoto de magnitude 7,4 atingir a Colômbia, Israel ofereceu assistência ao país sul-americano.

O ministro das Relações Exteriores de Israel, Gideon Sa’ar, afirmou que conversou com seu homólogo colombiano, Omar Bula, e ofereceu “qualquer assistência que Israel possa fornecer”. Segundo Sa’ar, “Israel está preparado para ajudar a Colômbia o quanto for necessário”.

A oferta ocorre poucas semanas depois de Israel enviar uma delegação de ajuda humanitária à Venezuela, também atingida por terremotos.

Em momentos de tragédia, ajuda humanitária não deve depender de distância, política ou fronteiras. Israel mostra, mais uma vez, que está disposto a agir quando vidas estão em risco.

Imagens que circulam nas redes sociais mostram o suspeito tentando cortar a tenda israelense até ser contido por seguranças, e gritos de "Todos os sionistas são racistas" ao fundo. Ninguém ficou ferido.

O CEO da Federação Judaica de Edmonton, Stacey Leavitt-Wright, afirmou que o homem invadiu a área do pavilhão israelense e avançou na parte de trás da tenda de cozinha. Após o alerta de voluntários, ele foi afastado e detido.

De acordo com o Ynet, dançarinos, voluntários e funcionários foram levados para uma área protegida logo após o incidente. Quando as autoridades liberaram o local, os dançarinos decidiram se apresentar mesmo com gritos de “All Zionists are racist” ao fundo.

Um festival criado para celebrar diversidade cultural não pode se tornar espaço de intimidação contra israelenses e judeus.
