One of the countless heartbreaking stories from the October 7, 2023, Hamas massacre on southern Israel is the story of Shahar Gindi (25) and Almog Sarusi (27). Shahar was a beloved daughter, sister, and partner. Almog was a beloved son, brother, and partner.
Shahar and Almog attended the Nova Festival together in southern Israel when the attack began.

As the horrific Hamas massacre unfolded, Shahar and Almog left the festival but while escaping, Shahar was brutally murdered by terrorists. Almog was kidnapped into Gaza alive and brutally murdered in a Hamas terror tunnel alongside Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Ori Danino, Carmel Gat, Alexander Lobanov, and Eden Yerushalmi in August 2024.

Almog had planned to propose to Shahar in January 2024.

Shahar and Almog’s story is only one of countless heart-shattering stories from Hamas’ massacre.
We must not let the world forget.

Israeli actor Oded Fehr - born in Tel Aviv - is officially returning as Ardeth Bay in The Mummy 4, due to be released in 2027.

Durante o evento “Levante ao vivo”, que aconteceu dia 23, no Cine Glauber Rocha, em Salvador, o presidente-executivo da StandWithUs Brasil, André Lajst, explicou que o massacre de 7 de outubro de 2023 foi possível graças a um grande – embora imponderável - erro de Israel: a soltura do ex-líder do grupo terrorista Hamas na Faixa de Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, da prisão israelense em 2010.

Na ocasião, Sinwar foi um dos terroristas trocados por Israel pelo soldado israelense Gilad Shalit, mantido por mais de cinco anos como refém pelo Hamas.

Sinwar voltou à Faixa de Gaza, galgou degraus na hierarquia do Hamas e, como líder máximo, arquitetou o massacre no sul de Israel.

O terrorista anteriormente havia sido preso em Israel e condenado à prisão perpétua por ter matado de 40 a 50 palestinos na década de 1980. Ele os arrastava por cordas presas a um carro até que sobrasse apenas o esqueleto, por terem, supostamente, colaborado com Israel.

Na prisão, estudou, aprendeu hebraico e foi salvo por médicos israelenses que o trataram de um câncer no cérebro. E acabou sendo o grande algoz do próprio povo que o salvou.

25 Years After the Sbarro Bombing That Murdered 16, Including 3 Americans, the Mastermind Remains Free in Jordan

On August 9, 2001, a Hamas terrorist walked into a Sbarro pizzeria in Jerusalem and detonated a suicide bomb, murdering 16 people - seven of them children, three of them American citizens. Among the dead was 15-year-old Malki Roth, a US citizen and a pregnant woman. More than 100 people were wounded. As the 25th anniversary of the massacre approaches, its mastermind - Ahlam Aref Ahmad al-Tamimi - remains free in Jordan's capital, never in hiding, never extradited. She has been on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist list since 2013, the only woman on the list. Despite a standing US extradition treaty with Jordan, the Hashemite Kingdom has refused to hand her over. "The woman who boastfully calls the atrocity 'my operation' has evaded accountability for years," said Arnold Roth, Malki's father. "Justice has been defeated." Twenty-five years. Three American victims. Zero accountability.

Malki Roth was just 15 years old when she was murdered on August 9, 2001, in the Sbarro restaurant bombing in Jerusalem.

A Palestinian terrorist entered the crowded restaurant and detonated an explosive device, killing 16 people, including Malki and a pregnant woman, and injuring more than 100 others.

Today, we remember Malki and all those whose lives were taken in this horrific act of terrorism. May their memories forever be a blessing. 🕯️
