For all of the thick-skulled morons out there who keep claiming the Strait of Hormuz is wide open and functioning, if you did even the slightest amount of research on maritime records, you would know that Hormuz is still CLOSED. There used to be 70-80 ships per day sailing through the strait. Now there's one or two per day. 97% drop, with 3,200 ships still stranded in the Gulf.

FACT: Almost all the ships allowed to sail through the Strait of Hormuz are Iranian-flagged ships or China-linked operators. There are NO western commercial ships being allowed through the strait. Thus, the straight is selectively closed to western nations. Anybody calling the blocking of the strait a "bluff" or claiming it's "open" is an actual idiot or a paid propagandist.
