President Trump has now declared a national fertilizer emergency, admitting that there are insufficient domestic supplies to meet fertilizer demand for farmers. (Proclamation 11038 on June 29th, invoking Section 318(a) of the Tariff Act of 1930.)

Remember that myself and Michael Yon warned about this in March, and then again in the months since. The war with Iran unleashed a global fertilizer supply chain collapse that is now being admitted by the White House... a move that was inevitable.

Famine is being engineered. Food shortages are coming.

As you are probably aware, Trump has declared a national emergency due to a worsening fertilizer shortage.

America's farms are running out, and domestic production can't meet the volumes needed to grow all the crops that keep Americans fed.

Unfortunately, the only action stemming from his emergency declaration is the lowering of duties on phosphate fertilizer imports from Morocco.

This will only help marginally, because the real shortage is the lack of sulfur, which is a critical feedstock for the manufacture of phosphate fertilizers.

And Trump's order does nothing to solve the sulfur shortage, which is of course caused entirely by the war on Iran and the closing of the Strait of Hormuz.

I asked AI to explain the chemistry of sulfur and phosphate fertilizers: "The chain works like this. Elemental sulfur (mostly a byproduct of oil and natural gas refining) is burned to make sulfur dioxide, which is converted to sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). That sulfuric acid is then reacted with phosphate rock in the "wet process" to produce phosphoric acid plus gypsum as a waste byproduct. The phosphoric acid is the actual building block: reacting it further with ammonia yields the two dominant phosphate fertilizers, MAP (monoammonium phosphate) and DAP (diammonium phosphate). A rough industry rule of thumb is that it takes on the order of half a ton of sulfur to produce a ton of phosphate fertilizer, so sulfur availability directly gates how much product a plant can make."

Got that? So without sulfur, all the phosphate rock in the world doesn't matter. You need the sulfuric acid or you can't turn it into usable agricultural fertilizer.

Which means we're still facing worsening food yield shortages on a global scale as long as this war with Iran continues. (And no, despite what JD Vance ignorantly claims, the strait isn't open.)

SRP24.com is their website and they are in desperate need of donations. He tells me the city there is absolutely wrecked. Thousands are dead, tens of thousands still missing.

Eastern Power Grid ALERT:
Remember just weeks ago when people like myself and Dr. Chris Martenson warned about the fragility of the U.S. East power grid and how the grid was headed for catastrophic energy shortages on high-demand days?

Yep, those days just arrived. Beginning yesterday, to be exact.

According to PJM's website reporting on July 2nd power demand:

"PJM executed a series of procedures to manage demand and maximize supply when some generation tripped offline, including calling on emergency demand response. PJM also issued a warning to prepare some transmission owners and utilities for the possibility of curtailing data centers and other large loads in their regions and moving them to backup generation. Ultimately, that action was not required and service was not impacted. Depending on how demand materializes at or near the peak July 3 and based on ongoing conditions, PJM could need to activate these same procedures or others."

In other words, if the weather gets even hotter, data centers start to go down.

The data centers on the Eastern grid serve the CIA, NSA, Pentagon and basically all the federal agencies that spy on Americans and run the corrupt kleptocracy. If these start to go down -- potentially including AWS data centers -- the government as we know it today cannot function.

This is why the White House recently called for people to raise the temperature on their thermostats, to reduce air conditioning usage. We've now arrived at that moment where the government's data center interests directly conflict the housing infrastructure requirements for the American people. They want you to turn off your HVAC so they can run more data center spying operations on you.

"The Maximum Generation Alert and Load Management Alert is currently in effect for July 3 for the PJM footprint," says the PJM website (source link below).

All of this is going to get far, far worse by June of 2027, when PJM has already openly admitted it cannot continue to serve the eastern grid even at current levels of service quality (which is obviously inadequate).

GRID VOLTAGE DOWN:
The U.S. power grid is beginning to fail, just as myself and others have been warning. Con Edison just invoked an emergency VOLTAGE REDUCTION across vast areas of NYC! (See impacted areas listed below.)

This voltage reduction was claimed to be 8% (more than enough to set off uninterruptible power supplies and cause electronics failures) but many customers reported actual voltage reductions of 25%, meaning your typical household voltage of 115 V would be reduced to 86 V, rendering most modern electronics, motors, pumps, lights, etc., largely inoperable.

Con Edison essentially implementing a rolling blackout but called it a “voltage reduction.” Because no institution in America can admit the truth anymore. What truth? That the eastern power grid is on the verge of catastrophic collapse.

According to my AI research agents:
“The voltage reductions and energy conservation requests affected vast swaths of the city, including:
• Northern Manhattan and the Bronx: Areas such as Riverdale, Marble Hill, Kingsbridge, Van Cortlandt Park, Inwood, Hudson Heights, and Washington Heights were among the first affected, with emergency shut-offs also occurring in Riverdale.
• Brooklyn and Queens: Nearly 400,000 customers in these boroughs had their voltage reduced. Specific zones included northern Brooklyn (Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Fort Greene) and northern/southeastern Queens (Auburndale, Jamaica, South Richmond Hill, Howard Beach).
• Westchester County: Approximately 90,000 customers in Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Bronxville, New Rochelle, and Mamaroneck were asked to conserve energy.
• Staten Island: Three pockets on the island also saw voltage reductions.
Customers in these areas were urged to limit air conditioning use, avoid energy-intensive appliances like washers and dryers, and delay electric vehicle charging.”

And it’s probably not even the hottest day of the year yet. On top of that, the eastern grid operator PJM just warned yesterday that it has reached peak demand beyond its ability to provide the necessary power buffer, and it may have to start ordering data centers to power down.

This is why I’ve been pursuing solar solutions for decentralized living, and it’s why I’m now advocating off-grid energy storage solutions, now that battery technology has finally advanced enough to offer reliable, long-life LFP batteries that make energy storage more practical and economical.
