The CDC just posted its myocarditis/pericarditis update. They are now admitting that post-second dose risk in people under 25 could be over 200x the background rate (and that’s not accounting for underreporting).
But the real news is even worse...
Images 3 and 4 give stratification by year of patient. As you can see, the post-second dose cases double from age 25 to 21, then double again in the 16-18 range.
The younger you are, the higher the risk.

One thing the media always fail to tell you is that a virus getting more transmissible is a very good thing indeed.
A virus that is less transmissible is more deadly.
A virus naturally wants to survive, if it kills it's host it kills itself.
A virus will adapt and mutate to infect as many people as it can unnoticed.
A virus that spreads with no symptoms to the host has won the evolutionary race.

Using PHE's own figures, the Delta variant has a death rate 85% less than the Alpha variant.
Isn't it strange how the virus follows science and becomes more infectious but far less deadly as it mutates. It's almost as if the virus wants to spread unnoticed to survive.
Sky showed this yesterday but didn't go into much detail so I thought I would recreate the chart and give a link to the data source.
Remember CFR is the amount of deaths per positive test, so using it in this chart is accurate as tests will be evenly spread through the population, but the real death rate (IFR) will be much, much lower as not everybody will go for a test with a runny nose.
