Yesterday, a Democrat Senator made a motion to suspend rules and allow a gun control bill to bypass committee and come straight to the floor for a vote. Senator Warren Petersen then shreds the argument that more gun laws will keep us safe.
Thank you Sen. Petersen for defending our inalienable right to defend ourselves!

We’re here with the #RLCendorsed candidate for Congressional District 4, Kelly Cooper. He’s the principled, pro-Liberty candidate who has what it takes to flip this seat.

“These proposals to ostensibly cut the tech giants down to size would, instead, perpetuate the dominant position of these companies and deprive consumers of the technological innovation that only free-market competition can provide.”
In his new op-ed, Senator Rand Paul explains why we should always defend free market principles: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/anger-big-tech-excuse-abandon-free-market

Sponsored by Rep. Ben Toma, HB2853 would expand eligibility for Empowerment Scholarship Accounts, so every K-12 student may have the opportunity to go to the school of their choice.
Public schools must not have a monopoly on education. Let’s advance school choice for every student and family, by funding students instead of systems. We support HB2853.
HB2853 is scheduled for the House Ways and Means Committee tomorrow, Wednesday, June 15th.

Great to see Governor Ducey sign Sen. Nancy Barto’s bill, SB1469. Glad to support this bill that protects privacy and due process, while upholding the 4th Amendment.

Thank you Arizona House Republicans! School choice is liberty! #FundStudentsNotSystems
SB1708 would have given $150 million in tax credits to film companies. Fortunately Rep. Travis Grantham held the bill in House Rules. But yesterday the Senate ignored the traditional committee deadlines/rules and amended HB2156 to resurrect this crony corporate welfare. Shameful. Thank you to the nine Senators who voted No.

We could have passed meaningful tax cuts to help Arizonans grapple with inflation, but now the budget surplus is gone. Thank you to the few fiscal conservatives in the legislature who opposed this budget. We will recognize you in our next legislative scorecard. #DrainTheSwamp

The House has passed HB2685, the $36 billion Maricopa County Transit Slush Fund to build light rail, trollies, and bike paths - NOT roads and freeways. As Biden said just yesterday, their goal is to “take millions of cars off the roads.” ALL of the democrats voted for this, 21 Republicans voted NO. Tell the Governor to VETO!

The Republican Liberty Caucus of Arizona proudly endorses Allen Skillicorn for Fountain Hills Town Council. As a former state legislator, Allen Skillicorn has a proven record of defending liberty. We need local elected officials like Allen who understand that government should be limited and it’s purpose is to defend individual rights. Allen Skillicorn will be a principled voice of reason on the Fountain Hills Town Council.

SB1168 is a bad bill that grows government and violates private property rights. It gives local governments ability to impose heavy regulations on short term rental properties. The original bill was narrow, but the recent floor amendment expanded the bill dramatically. Senators should vote No.
