💪 GORUCK Events Cancelled in Prague, Sydney, and Jersey City

GORUCK has pulled the plug on Prague, Sydney, and Jersey City, with all 🤝Stealth,🤝Urban, and 💪Operation Clear Field events cancelled due to low sign-up numbers.

📩 Registered participants received an email confirming that full refunds will be issued to their original payment method, with transactions expected to appear within the next few business days.

Per anomaly rules, cancelled events do not award any Season Points.

💙 The anomaly itself, however, is still very much on, with plenty of action and on-the-ground fun still ahead for agents! 🥳

One affected Resistance agent, who was signed up for all three events in Prague, shared:

Sad to hear that multiple events got canceled by GORUCK due to low participants.

Spoken to a couple Ruckers within the community and they are sad about it. For some of them, Rucking is part of their lifestyle and for others a way to stay fit.

The status of GORUCK events at the remaining Orion anomaly sites, Kure City, Geneva and Lima, is still unknown.

The train in our logo is one of the most iconic locomotives from the New Jersey Central railroad: the Baldwin DR-4-4-1500hp. This model, the 2001 (also known as a “Babyface”) was uniqe in that it was a “double-ender”, and had a cab on both ends of the locomotive so it never had to turn around. All of the engines from this era were destroyed for scrap. Not a single one remains in a museum, but you can take one home on your T-Shirt!

🐒 A cute new medal is hatching in the Scanner…

Here comes the Peridot Keeper Campaign, a free three-stage Dispatch campaign celebrating the sunset of Niantic Spatial’s AR pet game, Peridot

🗓 This campaign will run from June 1st - July 1st. Agents will need to complete a mix of classic bounty objectives including hacking, linking, fielding, glyph hacking, neutralising Portals, deploying mods and even getting some kilometres in on foot.

Complete enough tasks in each stage to unlock a limited-edition medal featuring one of Peridot’s colourful creatures.
