On March 18th, a Boeing P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft was damaged by a foreign aircraft while taxiing on the runway at an undisclosed airbase in the Middle East.
On March 20th, a McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II "experienced a mishap during an aborted takeoff".
The extent of the damage to both aircraft is unknown and could range from minimal to total loss.

Two intense cells with feverish lightning activity and heavy, flooding downpours are now moving onshore into the UAE, impacting the cities of Dubai and Abu Dhabi simultaneously. And this is not even the direct beginning of the supercell outbreak that is forecast for Thursday.
