Other than crypto, Lessin backed cloud software startup Airtable, valued at $11.7 billion, and rocket launch company Astra, which went public at a $2.1 billion valuation in 2021.
Earlier in his career, Lessin was an original investor in both Venmo and subscription commerce company Birchbox.
Lessin has also cofounded two startups: information exchange platform Drop.io, acquired by Meta in 2010; and work insight platform Fin Analytics, which raised $20 million.
