Amid news of an apparent slowdown in mass deportations, the Trump Admin has been escalating its expanse of detention space for migrants, choking their options of release to encourage their removal, while tapering away legal migration avenues and processes.

An Appeal To Pragmatism
Having a Congress that is willing to repeal the Civil Rights act of 1991, 1964 and Immigration Act of 1991, 1965 is a much desired change to aim for
Stephen Miller ally Rep. Andy Ogles from Tennessee has unveiled legislation to repeal the Hart-Celler Act of 1965, ban the H-1B visa, permanently close the diversity pipeline, end family migration, and enforce Good Character measures for immigration into the United States.

Among many other reasons this reminds us that pushing pro-Trump Republicans into office, instead of giving up on political participation or giving control to the enemy, is still our best way forward.

SecWar Pete Hegseth is working to purify the legal ranks of the Pentagon, align the lawyers and advisors with Trump and the 'war-fighting' ethics the U.S. holds. JAGs under previous administrations were aggressively left-leaning, defending bad policy such as vaccine mandates.

Trump renews his remark that illegals and refugees are "poisoning the blood" of America by saying the naturalized, legal migrants who have done violence have 'bad genetics' we shouldn't let in.

President Trump on immigrants acting up in the U.S.: "A lot of em were let in here they shouldn't have been let in. Others are just bad, they go bad, something wrong, their genetics are not exactly your genetics. It's one of those problems..."

Furthering and facilitating the Trump takeover of the GOP, with intentional votes and an invested voice, means getting greater mass deportations, achieving larger crime crackdowns, slowing and reversing pain points of replacement. Trump's GOP loyalists are stricter on immigration than anyone we have seen 60+ years, and they're actually in office rather than dissenting online.

New Executive Order to ensure Made in America products are really made here, in the US, not outsourced to Asia or LatAm.

'Chairman FTC shall prioritize cases in which a sellerโ€™s or manufacturerโ€™s claim that a product is โ€œMade in Americaโ€ or โ€œMade in the U.S.A.โ€, similar claims, may constitute a violation of law.' by being untrue, incomplete or misleading.

Cultured American
President Donald Trump in many of his speeches including campaign promises were explicit in hoping to be rid of the trap which previous presidents has pulled America
I appreciate your reply and understand where you are coming from; the U.S. has been entangled in regions we don't like for a long time. In this case I don't believe we are falling into a trap but rather trying to dismantle the trap itself, so we can finally move toward better priorities. And in that sense it isn't a contradiction of words, just a conflict of options.

Conflict isn't exactly what Americans wanted, but it may be what we need to fulfill a productive relationship with the Middle East. Whether we only neuter Iran or pursue regime change I consider it consistent with the direction of Peace Through Strength; this is, in some ways, a war against the cause of forever wars.

In early 2025, visas for legal migration declined by 16% for nonimmigrants and 20% for immigrants. This is from administrative denial and delay alone
Legal migrants and hoping-to-be legal or naturalized migrants are bunkering down in their communities, with businesses seeing profits decline and families second guessing their stay in America.

By cost the economy, this study actually means the foreign population of Maine is slowly disappearing. "Over 2,300 people were absent from work every day and more than 1,000 students were absent from school" in just a few areas surveyed, meaning ICE operations are genuinely cleaning up parts of the country and putting immigrants under pressure.

This post is somewhat misleading. Sanae Takaichi promised to put illegal migration at zero, and to cut permanent migration. The figure of an alleged 1.23 million immigrants refers to 805k temporary workers and 426k temporary trainees across FY2027 and FY2028. This is still undesirable, as many will be Vietnamese, Chinese and other non-Japanese Asians, but it is not PM Sanae doing a rugpull.

Reminder: Never get so focused on your dislike of indians, who are bad, or the crimes of blacks, which is high, that you start to defend hispanics or forget that they are the largest replacement group in the country. Multiple problems can be true at once and tackled separately.

Texas went from nearly 90% White in 1964 to around 30% White in 2024, primarily from hispanic population growth and immigration, but Texans focus largely on Indians and Muslimsโ€”both of whom must go. 'Prioritization' of groups is reasonable, 'permission' is not.
