we would have never done anything in the Middle East, we would have a much safer world right now
President Trump said 'if', which would need to have happened 20-40 years ago.
We have been stuck in the middle east, long before Trump. The only way to get unstuck means destroying whomever makes it hard for us to pull out the way we want to. Destroying Iran's ambitions is now the practical option, just like in Venezuela and possibly soon in Cuba. If you can't make a deal with us, you get destroyed by us--the alternative would be staying hostage to inaction, like Carter, or prolonging the problem, like Bush.

Iran was warned multiple times, yet continued to mock. Then confusedly attacked its own fellow Muslims when consequences came.

His metric for diplomacy is whether a nation is agreeable enough to be productive and contribute
As I mentioned last year, President Trump cares about deals. Ideology is secondary. He went from threatening to bomb North Korea, to being the first President to meet Kim Jung Un and enter his country, since Kim was smart enough to negotiate. Iran on the other hand, in a very islamic way, decided to be loud, stubborn, support BLM and Hezbollah and other terrorism, when they could have built a relationship with Trump and kept their theocracy.

Elders of the Black Sun IV
I’m against this message.
I understand the sentiment, and agree, but I don't believe Americans can operate in 10, 20, 50 year plans until we learn to appreciate 4 year possibilities. Right now the understanding of government and law is very low on this side, which bodes ill for the Right sustaining power. While Trump is establishing a framework of agreements (287g expansion, Shield of the Americas, Board of Peace, etc) to address the longevity of MAGA, having a regime to inherit it is still another term or two down the line in my opinion.
