‼️ALL EYES ON RAFAH‼️

While millions of Gazans are sheltering in the city of Rafah, a majority of whom have fled their homes in the past seven months to escape “israel’s” genocidal terror, leaflets have once again rained down on Gaza. This time, they command hundreds of thousands to evacuate the city of Rafah in what is being termed as the prelude to a full-scale invasion. As the zionist horror makes its way south, having martyred, injured, and starved hundreds of thousands in the process, Gazans find themselves in the strip’s southernmost city with nowhere left to go. Mass death is imminent for millions at this moment.

We at the Liberated Zone are here for Rafah, for Gaza, for Palestine. We condemn in the strongest possible terms any attempts to co-opt our encampment for the purposes of affirming bourgeois rights to free speech and assembly rather than affirming Palestinians’ rights to life and resistance. All mentions of the Liberated Zone which do not mention those who we fight for are utterly useless to our cause. If your eyes are not on Rafah, if your heart is not with Gaza, if your solidarity is not with Palestine, you are not with us.

📍Claremont Colleges

At 5 a.m. today, students from Pomona Divest from Apartheid (PDfA) set up their second Palestine Solidarity Encampment at Pomona College. This is after Pomona College arrested 20 students and forcibly removed the mock ‘apartheid wall’ at the first solidarity encampment on April 5.

Earlier today, LAPD, in collaboration with UC police, arrested at least 43 students, legal observers and press in a parking garage, charging them with felonies. Students are now staging a sit-in at Dodd Hall, with LAPD on the way.

This morning, the UCSD Gaza Solidarity Encampment was raised by San Diego Police in full riot gear, and over 65 students were arrested. An Imam was reportedly maced. Students then attempted to block the prison buses from leaving campus. Solidarity, comrades!

A group calling itself “Rachel Corrie’s Ghost Brigade” claimed responsibility for the May Day burning of 15 Portland Police Department cars, connecting their action to the student movement’s demand for divestment. Here is their statement in full.

MIT administration has called riot police to the Gaza Solidarity Encampment. Around 150 anti-genocide protesters are blocking their access to the camp. State patrol also on scene.
