Libyan MiG-23MS intercepted by US Navy’s F-4N circa 1981. MiG-23MS was equipped with smaller Sapphire-21 radar less capable than Soviet VVS MiG-23M’s Sapphire-23D-III radar. You can see smaller nose cone from this image. Libyan airforce was formidable force in 1980s.
