Group Capt Abbas Mirza of Pakistan Air force after flying the first solo flight in F-20 Tigershark. During the 1980s, three US jets were short-listed by the PAF, Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, LTV A-7 Corsair II and the Northrop F-20 Tigershark to complement the small F-16 Fleet.
