Folks, you all know I love planes. I made this archive to connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts worldwide. No politics, no bias, just chill people sharing what they love.

I've compiled a list of channels with a similar aesthetic, whether military-themed or not. What matters is that they’re run by people passionate about what they share.

If you know a channel that fits this vibe, let us know, and we'll add it.

VFW-Fokker VAK-191B German experimental VTOL attack/strike aircraft undergoing trials, somewhere between 1971 and 1975.
3 Prototypes were made, and the way it got its VTOL capabilities is almost exactly the same as the Yak-38 - 2 main engines to drive it forward in cruise (engine type: Rolls-Royce RB 162-81F-08 Turbojet) [The Yak-38 however only used 1 engine to do so], and 1 lifting fan (The Yak-38 had 2), using the Roll-Royce/MAN Turbo RB 193-12 vectored thrust turbofan engine for VTOL operations/cruise

A note to Mr Perch, love the planes but if you are gonna straight up jack shit from reddit posts, at least have the decency to keep the image in acceptable quality

Not drama or anything, just want their channel to not turn into 40kb slop posting

🇮🇳⚡️🇵🇰 Today is April 10th 2025. 66 years since the first aerial kill of the PAF.

On Eid al-Fitr, with a skeleton crew on duty, a radar station detected an Indian Canberra on a reconnaissance mission entering Pakistani airspace. Two F-86F Sabres, piloted by Flt. Lt. M. N. Butt and Flt. Lt. M. Yunis were scrambled to intercept.

The Canberra, flying above 50,000 feet, was out of range for Butt's attack. When the aircraft lost altitude, Yunis fired, hitting it at 47,500 feet and bringing it down over Rawat. Both Indian pilots ejected, were captured, and repatriated the next day.
