ℹ️ Topic: Persistence Community Owned Liquidity: bootstrap Liquidity Pools on Dexter

⚡Tl;dr: Use 41,000 XPRT tokens (~$10,000) from the Persistence Community Pool to bootstrap the PSTAKE/XPRT pool on Dexter as the first experiment of PCOL. The Liquidity will be bonded on Dexter, and all rewards generated will be sent back to the Community Pool at fixed intervals.

For the first time, the Persistence Community will own liquidity, and the community pool will diversify by accumulating tokens other than XPRT. A PCOL system will set a precedent for other projects to bootstrap liquidity on Dexter.

The proposed PCOL system aligns the three major aspects of any prospering DeFi Ecosystem: dApp Traction, Ecosystem Alignment, and Community Buy-in 🤝

ℹ️ Topic: Next steps in XPRT Liquidity Bootstrapping (XLB) on Dexter and Osmosis

⚡Tl;dr: Proposal 21 allocated 1M XPRT from the Ecosystem wallet to bootstrap XPRT liquidity on Dexter and Osmosis. So far, 628,700 XPRT tokens (~62.87%) have been used via governance approval.

XPRT is back to being one of the most liquid tokens in Cosmos, with an overall 3X increase in liquidity (~$900k+ currently) since the XLB discussion was started. The original goal of Proposal 21 has been achieved 🦾

The newly proposed incentives amount to 2533.3 XPRT per day, a ~50% reduction with three key considerations:

1) Reducing token incentive spend while growing liquidity
2) Striking a balance between staking and LPing XPRT
3) Testing the waters with a 30-day period

⚡️ Summary of Proposal 43:

Enable pSTAKE support for the Liquid Staking Module (LSM) on the Cosmos Hub.

Consider Alice has a total of 10,000 ATOM natively staked across 3 validators of her choice. LSM support on pSTAKE will allow her to do the following:

1. Go to https://cosmos.pstake.finance and choose to liquid stake using Validator Delegation (LSM)

2. See all 3 individual delegations

3. Select the amount of delegation (staked ATOM) to liquid stake

4. Convert staked ATOM into liquid stkATOM instantly

5. Use stkATOM in DeFi: Dexter, Umee, Shade Protocol, Osmosis, Crescent, Nolus

The LSM will unlock ~$400M+ worth of staked ATOM to be liquid staked instantly.

This is expected to increase pSTAKE’s adoption in Cosmos and TVL on Persistence 🦾
