🚨 Geo-blocking deadline extended to 1 March 2024.

Taking into account the feedback from community members and ensuring a seamless transition for affected users, geo-blocking of dApps on https://persistence.one (pWallet and pBridge) and Ecosystem dApps (pSTAKE Finance and Dexter) will now happen on 1 March 2024 instead of 1 February 2024.

👉 Users under restricted jurisdictions are urged to take the necessary steps before 1 March 2024

👉 Staked $XPRT tokens can be transferred directly from pWallet to a new Keplr Wallet by following this guide.

Please note that geo-blocking is done for front-ends hosted by Persistence Labs and has no implications on tokens, contracts, and modules deployed on the Blockchain.

This will be done jointly with Protocol Owned Liquidity matching from respective Community Pools.

While the Persistence network itself has a high decentralization score (which can be seen here: https://observatory.zone/persistence), it is important to note that dApps on the network often exhibit a centralized component: their front-ends. Despite the decentralized nature implied by the term 'dApps’, reliance on centralized front-ends is a common occurrence.

In an effort to address this and to continually advance the boundaries of decentralization, proactive validators within the Persistence network have undertaken the initiative of developing alternative decentralized front-ends using IPFS for Persistence One applications such as pWallet, pSTAKE app, and Dexter app.
