In this recent shooting, the girl tried to stab another girl right in front of the cop. No one in the entire vicinity was intimidated at all by the cop car pulling up. It was like he wasn’t even there.

Separation of Church and State was always nonsense and purely meant to clear the way for secular ideologies to replace religion.

If the basis of SoC&S was really freedom of conscience, then the government would be banned from pushing any particular ideology, since those violate people’s freedom of conscience as much as religion does. Yet there is zero such restriction on secular ideologies.

If you’re a Christian, you may as well support state-sponsored religion, because the only other thing you’re going to get in its place is state-sponsored evil.

In hindsight, I am so glad I was banned from conservative forums a few years ago. Conservatives are literal mind poison to productive right wing thought.
